I watched TROY again and I think the problem is Brad Pitt is the definitive Achilles. Anything below his feral physical perfection comes off like weak ass cosplay. Every man is Elliot Page compared to this guy.

RTI was one of the few tools that gave ordinary citizens the power to question the system without needing political connections or influence. Any attempt to weaken transparency laws benefits entrenched bureaucracy far more than the public. Without accountability, corruption doesn’t disappear — it simply becomes harder to detect. A democracy stays healthy when both politicians and bureaucrats know they can be questioned.

And it becomes amply clear why the IAS lobby wants to get rid of RTI. It’s not the politicians but the bureaucrats who stand to gain the most by the watering down or removal of acts like RTI - a full carte blanche to go back to 1980s style corruption with no checks or inquiry.

Yesterday was a long day. I was called for questioning in connection with a case that I believed had no merit, and I attended the questioning to present my version. However, the police arrested me at 5.30 PM. I was granted bail at 10 PM, and the Hon’ble Duty Judge clearly stated that he saw no offence in the case. He also said that he saw no mens rea and failed to understand why I had even been arrested. Grateful to @RaviSharmaTalks and @sidcool2302, the wonderful lawyers who helped me through this. @SanjeevSanskrit Minority status and constitutional protections are legal and demographic questions — not issues that should be reduced to anger or religious hostility. A stable democracy protects the rights of all communities while also ensuring equal application of law and national unity.
