Tushar Mehta@tushaarmehtaa

last to last week, someone walked into @aiweekendsxyz with zero idea what to build. still showed up, revived an old project, and shipped something better in 3 hours. this week, that same person has 5 users and is coming back to add more features and think through a growth plan for his chrome extension. that’s basically what ai & weekends has become. just people showing up, figuring things out, and shipping anyway. ep10 tomorrow: luma.com/39s93iv5 if you’ve been sitting on an idea, this is your sign. come build 🚀

- fucked JEE 2025 - joined a college very far from my home because i LOVE to travel - tried fitting in, made friends, lost MOST just as fast. caught feelings, broke my heart, nothing happened. learned the hard way, not everything is meant to last - late night talks felt deep, next day meant nothing. i stayed up building instead, apps, ideas, experiments. most failed, a few kept me going - learned more from strangers on the internet than classes. explored everything , web2, web3, design, editing. even cold called random people (made some money tho Xd) started small agency with @RachitThakur146 made decent amount of money & closed it with learnings. - skipped most lecs, got detained @theayush, @singh_rakshat helped me sit for exams, thank you!❤️ - became @redbull basement 2026 national finalist out of 23K+ teams with @Kavan2908. Pitched our idea & had fun! met @suhasasumukh there :) - interned at 2 startups for UX, UI role & SDE shipped some products (learnt lessons on payments & contracts) - volunteered at iaff 2026 in new delhi @ Qutb Minar met @hardeep_gambhir @Chandan_Perla . loved the energy. got real exposure to on-ground ops & management, way different from just building online. Learned how things actually move in the real world. - got into HPAIR 2026 + SF hackathons, couldn’t make it due to visa issues :( - completed 1.5 yrs at @hackclub, organized campfire Ahmedabad ($600 raised) with a team of 4. Was my last year as club lead, signing off ❤️ thanks @zachlatta for everything! - hit IIT D, met @0oAstro , pitched & got real feedback from YC partners → levelled up big time. met some insanely cool people, shared ideas, had fun, free food + stickers! - right now building product + working on some things :) - overall enjoyed college life, had fun, went to a few parties, skipped most of them because they made no sense to me - skipped most college clubs, chose to focus on things i truly cared about - met @adxtyahq, coolest guy on campus 😎 btw i’ll do this every year, this is just the start !!

Yc startup school summarised for those who didn't attend: Kinda disasterous but it worked out in the end. 1. They didn't open gate at 12:30, the time they mentioned in the event email. 2. There were not enough chairs for 2000 something people. 3. The audio was not loud enough for people sitting at the back, so most people chose to completely ignore what was being said in the talks. 4. Best way to utilise the event was networking. 5. Crowd was great, but in a pool of 2000 something people it's hard to know whom to talk to. Alot of college and even high school students attended. People from different countries, I met an engineer from Aston Martin F1 team. 6. Met many mutuals from X and people I knew already. Best part for me. 7. Atleast 15+ people took photo with me because of my t-shirt. ( That was kinda funny ) 8. Some dude just sprayed pesticides while people were talking around in that area. 9. Dinner was good and we got merch.

7:30 AM in BLR and the metro’s already packed. No noise, no complaints just people showing up, quietly chasing their goals. This city doesn’t sleep, it builds. Respect the grind. 🫡
