When people try to pretend Ukraine is some megaevil country that hates Russia they completely ignore that until Putin started his shit the two nations shared an essentially friendly regional rivalry Even after Crimea and Donbas war, Ukrainians had net positive views of Russians!

I don't understand the point of using the term "dozen". It means 12, so just say 12? It's even worse when people say or type "half a dozen". Just say 6 or six.

Most of that tech was created by Ukrainians, Poles, Jews etc and then Russians appropriated/stole it. They even created special labor camps for prominent engineers where they put Ukrainians Korolyov and Kalinin (he made the most popular pre-war civilian airplane), both have been killed. So there’s a reason why they didn’t create that much after the collapse of the USSR even with the pile of oil money that came in 00s

For a long time, I hated on the Soviet Union because it was expected of me as a "liberal on Twitter" to hate the Soviet Union. And I played along with that. It was expected of me. And I still dislike communism. But the USSR, as a state? That's my heritage. I'm not disowning it.
