@kirikhia i solo q support for fun once every 2 weeks and it’s always relatively close to my dps rank and if anything, i find myself winning on support more. your utility is really strong and you have so much impact over the game. if you ever need advice i can point u in the right places

@Denti47920216 @chowosen I think this argument can be made in good faith but you are coming at it from a poor angle. Some heroes aren’t fun to be meta. Great hero designs deserve to be strong like tracer, genji, winston, ana. Vendetta, Ram, Mauga, Kiri eliminate the skill ceiling and minimize the plays.

@chowosen It’s so unbelievably simple I don’t understand why ppl can’t just accept it: the game would be too stale if there were no characters that clearly dominate. What would they be doing if their most played characters stayed the same for months and the players got bored?

The most frustrating part is that i can't for the life of me figure out the philosophy behind the changes they make. Dva has been highly banned across multiple ranks and platforms for many seasons but hasn't seen meaningful changes. Kiriko has been devouring the market share of the other supports for years, and bap is basically dead this season. New season patches are supposed to be the largest scheduled changes we see, yet they come and go without doing anything. Now we get a hotfix on a random thursday because god forbid hog and vendetta are bad for a couple of weeks. I can't wrap my head around it. I'm not asking for perfect balance (that doesn't exist), but I don't think it's too much to ask for some consistency and a vision. The idea behind upping the hero release cycle was to drive excitement and keep the meta fresh. Why not apply that to balance? New seasons should feel new, not just a small tweak to last season with some new skins.

Alright so it was pretty obvious the whole AI graphic design thing was going to improve to this point sooner or later The question is, are people going to keep shaming others for using AI or are we getting to a turning point where everyone is alright with it being used? Is the goal to keep graphic design a “human job” forever or are we just waiting for the people who went to school for it to make enough money to retire then transition most of the jobs to AI I am not well educated in this regard I just really enjoy sociology and this has been very interesting for me. I particularly would like to hear from people impacted by these AI changes and how you see your job/hobby being effected Side note for anyone who cares, I’ve never really used AI for my images, merch, or editing. I’m not against it, I just never tried it lol

Look at every tank released in 5v5, some form of self sustain with the added passives for more of it because of the removal of team play with tanks. Damage characters follow the same philosophy. @amartarae like u can be cracked but if your tank is pinning into 5 and your supports healbot down main you genuinely cant really affect the game on dps. because of that like 40% of your fights are just like "my team threw let me see if i can find a funny pick" so its like the lowest stress

i swear dps is actually impossible to play in ranked
