@AphobeHottakes Love is love!
I think lesbian, gay & bi are normal. I totally respect them (as long as they're trans &/or ace).
1. Being gay means you're a man. Men aren't oppressed.
2. Lesbian is a popular porn category. So obviously no one hates on them.
3. Bi Felica. Need I say more?

@aragon1500 @ButterscotchwM @alexatheok Yes & no.
Asexuality is/has a spectrum. That spectrum indicates sexual attraction: None, some, rare, weak, conditional, etc.
Other things aren't part of that spectrum, because they can be applied to others.
Blue squares exist, but 'blue' isn't part of the 'rectangle spectrum'.
English

@asexualACES @ButterscotchwM @alexatheok Right its a state of beingthat has a spectrum within it like how autism is a neurological condition but is considered a spectrum disorder cause they have things in common but aren't identical a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square
English

@aragon1500 @ButterscotchwM @alexatheok Yes! Definitely! 'Some' is a very important keyword.
It's generally understood for most groups that people within that group are individuals, but when it comes to lesser known groups like aces, people often struggle to see what's 'this makes you [group]' & 'this makes you you'.
English

@asexualACES @ButterscotchwM @alexatheok Tbh some should be our leading word with aces and aros in general some aces like sex others don't some only wanna do it with someone they have a bff type relationship with all aces are valid
English

@Glaceix Well, you know, white is a spectrum. 😜
No, it isn't. Color is a spectrum & something's either white or it isn't.
If it isn't, I don't need it in my life. & I certainly don't need a dozen different shades of faux-white. But some people do. Or they need 1 of them or whatever. 🤷🏻♀️
English

@asexualACES I mean I AM making fun of wedding dresses being called "chapagne/eggshell/offwhite/nacre" but that's mainly cause I can't see them. And in my head "white" is per definition reflecting all wavelengths, and as soon as there is a sliight yellowish hue, it's no longer white to me.
English

@scretladyspider They always think they're so fucking clever.
Step 1: Don't understand what it means
Step 2: Base opinion on how you misunderstood what it means
Step 3: Be vocal about your opinion
Step 4: Insist that you understand what it means
Step 5: Make sure to mock it for being silly
English

@Glaceix I mean 'eggshell' is a color. So is 'offwhite'. I need neither of those labels, but I'm not gonna go to posts about boring colors & say how unnecessary they are. 🤷🏻♀️
Yes! FWB! I love bringing that up when people go "A (romantic) relationship without sex is "just" a friendship!"
English

@asexualACES Yeah, I mean you're just telling that a demisexual/(likely) demiromantic who's trying to get into QPRs (as in trying to grasp what they exactly are) ^^
And hell, even fi that was the case - FWB exists and has it's own label, why shouldn't QPR get one too?
English

@ButterscotchwM @alexatheok Some. Some aces can enjoy sex for the (alleged 😉) physical pleasure.
*someaces can enjoy sex. Not all do.s can enjoy sex. Not all do.
English

@alexatheok @asexualACES No ace ppl can still enjoy sex for the physical pleasure of it, even if they're not sexually attracted to the person. A common phrase some ace ppl resonate with is "the plumbing is all there it's just not pointed at anything."
