Monday Night Prayer
Lord God,
As this Monday comes to an end, I come before You in honesty and surrender.
You know my heart. You know the truth I carry, the convictions I hold, and the weight that sometimes comes with standing for what is right.
Father, thank You for being the God of truth.
When lies are loud, You remain steady.
When criticism comes, You remain my defender.
When I feel misunderstood, rejected, or alone, You remind me that I am never truly alone.
Lord, give me rest tonight.
Quiet my mind from every harsh word spoken, every false label placed, and every burden carried through this day.
If boldness and courage rise within me, I know they come from You.
Help me never to compromise truth for comfort, or silence for acceptance.
Holy Spirit, continue to guide me.
Sharpen my discernment, guard my heart from pride, and keep my spirit rooted in love—even when truth is hard to receive or share.
When this path feels lonely, remind me that I was created for Your purpose, not the approval of people.
As I lay down to sleep, I place every battle, every misunderstanding, and every unanswered question into Your hands.
Let Your peace cover me.
Let Your light guide my path.
Let every chain of deception and fear be broken—within me and within all who seek Your truth.
I rest tonight knowing that truth will always stand,
Your presence will always remain,
and Your purpose will always prevail.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Mawokota South MP Yusuf Nsibambi (FDC) has disconnected electricity from a village in his constituency after suffering a heavy defeat in the recent elections.
Nsibambi says the electricity was connected using his own money. He adds that voters should learn to appreciate the efforts made by their leaders.
He has also warned residents to stop criticizing him, threatening to burn the transformer, which he claims he also purchased with his personal funds.

Good Night
As you lay your head to rest tonight, remember this: God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels slow or unclear. Don’t let impatience or comparison steal your peace. What seems delayed is not denied—God is never late, and He is never early. He works outside the constraints of time, orchestrating every detail for your good and His glory.
Do not take shortcuts or seek solutions outside Him. Desperation leads to regret, but trust leads to fulfillment. Every step you’ve taken, every prayer you’ve whispered, every struggle you’ve endured is being woven into the masterpiece God is creating in your life.
Be still tonight and let go of anxiety. Release your fears, your plans, and your worries into the hands of the One who holds the universe. When the season is right, your breakthrough, your answers, and your joy will come—on God’s timetable, which is always perfect.
Rest in this truth: “He makes everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Sleep with confidence, knowing that God is working all things together for your good.
Amen.
