Today, I visited the office of the Self-Administration of North and East Syria in Berlin.
The friendship between our peoples is not merely a matter of shared interests; it is a deep and enduring bond between minorities in the Middle East who have been forced to fight to defend themselves.
The world and Europe must remember that the Kurds are the ones who fought, and still fighting, in the front line against ISIS and Islamists that would other wise reach Europe.
The world, and Europe in particular, cannot afford to remain silent. We must hold the Syrian government accountable for these attacks and ensure that the rights of Kurds and all minorities are permanently enshrined in a new Syrian constitution. The international community must also actively guarantee the safety and protection of the Kurdish population.

Aquí, Damasco-Siria, adonde he regresado tras 116 años de exilio. Momento sagrado y con carambola política inimaginable hasta el acceso al poder del Presidente Ahmed al Sharaa. Este es uno de los 22 templos judíos que había en la ciudad cuando éramos 100 mil. Me abre las puertas este funcionario del gobierno islamista sunnita, que tiene las llaves. Imposible un hecho similar en tiempos shiítas y alawitas de Bashar y Hafez al Assad. No se cuántos foristas adquieren dimensión de lo que aquí está pasando, pero créanme que es impresionante. Gobierna Siria ahora la corriente musulmana de Al Qaeda, el Estado Islámico de Irak y el Levante, Tahrir al Sham, Al Nusra, que ahora pasaron a la fase "somos buenos" y todo validado por Donald Trump. Entonces en vez de cortar cabezas o incendiar el templo judío, lo custodian y a mi pedido me dejan visitarlo, procesarlo y registrar la sinagoga ésta llamada "francesa" y que no funciona desde 1992 porque solo quedan 6 judíos en Damasco. Todo es posible en política, sí.

Noa and Avinatan were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, from the Nova Festival in southern Israel. Noa was rescued from Gaza in June 2024 during an IDF operation, and Avinatan Or was released on October 13, 2025, after more than two years in captivity.

Today I had the honor of visiting the new Head Police Chief and Deputy Director of Internal Security in Syria. 🇸🇾
Our confidence in him is absolute, based on tangible achievements. Months ago, he helped recover the stolen copper doors of a synagogue in Damascus, acting with integrity because it was the right thing to do.
Thank you, Brigadier General. Our trust and affection for you are profound. I wish you every success in this new chapter. Heartiest congratulations! ❤️

I am profoundly happy to share that my dear friend Salim Hamadani has been released and cleared of all accusations. After 20 days, the legal system has confirmed what we knew in our hearts: Salim is an innocent man.
I want to express my deepest gratitude and respect to the Syrian government for their diligence, cooperation, and for ensuring a fair and transparent trial. Their commitment to the rule of law has been exemplary.
Most importantly, I had the privilege of visiting Salim personally during this time. I can testify firsthand to the high standard of care, respect, and dignity he was shown by the authorities throughout his stay. This level of attention reinforces our faith in the fairness of the state toward all its citizens.
Thank you to everyone who kept him in their prayers. Today, we celebrate justice, integrity, and the safe return of a valued member of our community. 🤲🙏🕎 🇸🇾 Happy New Year!

In light of recent reports, we stand in hope that justice will be served fairly for Salim Hamadani—my close friend. It is important to note that the Syrian government’s involvement is not an act of prejudice; on the contrary, we believe the authorities are acting with extra diligence and care precisely because Salim is a valued member of the Syrian Jewish community. They are doing their job to ensure the truth is found. Our hope is that the government successfully identifies the malicious actors behind this false report. Justice is only complete when the innocent are protected and those who weaponize false accusations—along with any collaborators who helped them—face the full consequences of their actions for trying to mislead the state. Bold and just action by Israel. Somaliland meets all the international criteria for statehood, in addition to being peace-loving and well governed. Oddly, the Palestinian Authority, which has been very succesful in seeking recognition for its non-state, it in a lather about this.

I announced today the official recognition of the Republic of Somaliland as an independent and sovereign state. Together with Foreign Minister Sa'ar and the President of the Republic of Somaliland, we signed a joint and mutual declaration. This declaration is in the spirit of the Abraham Accords, signed at the initiative of President Trump. I congratulated the President of Somaliland, Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdallah, and praised his leadership and commitment to promoting stability and peace. I invited the President to pay an official visit to Israel. The President thanked me for this historic declaration and expressed appreciation for my achievements in fighting terrorism and advancing regional peace. I thank Foreign Minister Sa’ar, the Head of Mossad David Barnea and the Mossad, for their contribution to today’s development, and I wish the people of Somaliland success, prosperity, and freedom. The State of Israel plans to immediately expand its relations with the Republic of Somaliland through extensive cooperation in the fields of agriculture, health, technology, and economy.

I will never forgive what Palestinians did to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus.
Bethlehem was over 80% Christian under Israeli control until 1995. Today, under Palestinian rule, it’s below 10%.
As soon as the city was transferred to the Palestinians, they completely changed the demographics by resettling thousands of Muslims, displacing Christians, and forever altering its fabric.
The city where Jesus was born has been completely Islamized. It was all by design.

Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, was 80% Christian under Israeli 🇮🇱 rule until 1995.
In 1995, Palestinian 🇵🇸 Authority took control. Today under 10% of the population is Christian.
Under Palestinian rule, the birthplace of Jesus underwent full Islamization.
