@VirginAtlantic for those following at home, this is resolved (by going on web chat and saying i’m in the UK and not the rest of the world). It still took a lot more time than necessary and fwiw, @VirginAtlantic still hasn’t really responded to my DM.

@VirginAtlantic It’s not a complicated issue, it just needs someone who can use their brain and has access to the seat assignment @virginatlantic system.

If getting a simple seat assignment issue resolved by @VirginAtlantic before my flight is any indication, travel to the UK in August is going to be terrible!
