Here’s the proof that Florida’s tort reform worked and is saving Floridians real money: ✅ Average statewide reduction of 8.7% in homeowners premiums for Citizens policyholders, including Broward (-14.1%), Miami-Dade (-14%), Palm Beach (-11.9%), and Monroe (-11.3%). ✅ Commercial homeowner premiums down statewide, including Florida Peninsula (-8.2%), Security First (-8%), and Universal (-5.1%). ✅ Auto premiums down statewide, including USAA (-7%), Farm Bureau (-8.7%), Progressive (-8% + $1 billion in refunds), State Farm (-20% over two years), AAA (-15.1% over three filings), and Allstate (-4%). ✅ Surplus lines carriers reporting savings, including Commercial Business (-33%) and Commercial Windstorm & Hail (-47%).
