@wispem_wantex I was at a coffee shop in Amsterdam and asked for an iced americano and they didn’t know, and so I went with an iced espresso. They used a large cup and a shot of espresso and on my way out overheard the baristas saying it looked weird and that they should fill it with water.

I once asked for an affogato at the lovely Cafe Lunette in Halifax.
The waitress asked me what that is, then thought for a moment: "I don't think we have that. But if you want, I can bring you an ice cream and an espresso, and you can pour it." I told her that would be fine.
