@DaleJohnsonBBC Just take the offside from players feet. Not thigh, backside, chest, shoulder etc. just feet.

@WhistleBlowerDK Good luck David. My mother had this in 2003 when on holiday in Spain. Luckily, I had heard about it as I follow Liverpool and Markus Babbel had it. My mother has fought through it and is now almost 80. Wish you well with your recovery. 👍🏻

Two months ago I was diagnosed with Guillem-Barre, and autoimmune condition that creates severe weakness is in your body. For the last eight weeks I have been learning how to walk again, and haven't been able to use my arms. I was discharged from rehab hospital this week…

@simonrug There was never going to be an agreement. Welsh rugby has always been entrenched with club politics and jealousy that someone has it better or "why should we help this/that club". Should be two regions like Scotland. Might have a chance to compete on a decent level then.

@ashrowlando @HACKETTREF This “unnatural position” thing is asking for trouble. The notion that a moving stretching human body should have their arms by their side throughout the movement is fiction devised by people who’ve never kicked a ball!

@TheHoofballPod @HACKETTREF What I was pointing out is that deflection has been removed and it's only now about the position of the arm. Whether or not this is natural or unnatural is subjective. It's 100% a pen in a European game, but Prem are being more lenient. Which is again an issue for consistency.

@ashrowlando @HACKETTREF You think that’s an unnatural position? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Try slide tackling without your arm ending up there - I’ll wait!

@ashrowlando @muff5 It’s the refs counting down from 8 on one hand you have to worry about. 👀

Should only start the count when happy the keeper has control. Any opposition trying to hinder that can also have warning. Think we all know when keepers are taking the piss! It is a Law of the Game though and not guidance. So, observers will want it inforced. 🖐️🖖👋🤚✌️👆😬

@shaunknoxDiogo @ashrowlando @LeeTrundle10 @refsupportuk @laura_woodsy @talkSPORT This 8 second rule will rival it . Refs only following the rule book but the countdown starting as soon as it’s in their hands. Keeper back peddling to catch a cross , falling backwards and he’s already 4/5 seconds into the 8 before on his feet. Going to cause chaos early on

Over two years ago I had a conversation with @laura_woodsy on @talkSPORT about “a no go zone” for players and refs so players can have their own Personal space when the game is stopped. There were not boundaries in the game and we need to establish them. See YouTube link here. youtu.be/a90Mg7h602M?si… This came after the Andy Robinson alleged “elbow incident. Now this “no go zone” has been introduced at all levels of the game. The new captains protocol states. “The FA (Football Association) has implemented a new "Only the Captain" protocol aimed at reducing dissent and confrontation between players and referees in football matches. This protocol allows only the team captain, identified by an armband or at the coin toss, to approach the referee during specific situations, particularly when addressing decisions. A 4-meter "no-go zone" is established around the referee, and players entering this zone without permission risk receiving a yellow card for dissent.” This is another brilliant introduction by the FA that should address poor behaviour by players. Thanks to @laura_woodsy for listening to my suggestion and giving refs a voice.💪❤️

@muff5 It's not great, standing there with your hand in the air counting, when you're getting into the next position. I'm debating whether I say "Mississippi" or "Elephant" between each number 🤔

@LeeTrundle10 @refsupportuk @laura_woodsy @talkSPORT Communication is a referees best tool. I've got no problem explaining my decisions to anyone, and enjoy a bit of chat with players. Just don't need persistent whingeing and moaning and at anything controversial, I just need captain and players directly involved in the incident.
