@UIDAI Recently been to bank for Re kyc of my 91 yrs father's account on submission of PAN & Aadhar we're told that date of birth is not updated in Aadhar but correct in PAN card which bank is not considering. Only proof of date of birth we have is expired Passport. Please guide

He once wrote formally asking why he was being paid a salary for work that was never assigned to him. In 2025 the Supreme Court dismissed his plea for promotion to Chief Secretary. Despite AIR 1. Despite 30 years of service. He also wrote 34 books. Won the Sahitya Akademi Award. Holds a PhD in law. MIT offered him America. He chose the people. India’s system sent him one message for 34 years. There’s always a day that you spend venting out your emotions and expressing gratitude not by uttering a word but by draining out the entire stock of your tears in a few seconds. I had that day recently when I went to meet my mother-like Chachiji,as I fondly call her since my childhood, our neighbour in Delhi when the 1984 anti-Sikh pogrom happened. She gave me and my entire family a new lease of life by protecting us from the lynching mob. After seeking her blessings, I hugged her only to break down in loud cries while tears kept rolling down our cheeks. We both cried. With her voice choked,she asked why you left, you were part of our family? In her (now 92), we experienced a real DEVI who saved us for three days. Not only she, but her entire family, her now late husband, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law were our saviours. With her hand on my head, I relived the life of my childhood. When emotions cooled down a bit,she narrated how some rioters kept visiting their house at that time to check our whereabouts. They would ask her to swear by her sons that we weren’t hidden at their house. But she stood rock solid to protect us. Spent a quality time with the family. Longed for such a satisfying day since long. Thank you our saviours. I’m sure there will be thousands and lakhs of Sikhs who can also relate themselves to my story. We were saved by Hindus. We have to acknowledge and say this unreservedly as many times as we can. While I always demand full justice in the 1984 massacre of Sikhs, many get upset when I say what actually triggered it. Don’t understand why we are scared to say it was in a way the result of years of terrorism in Punjab. Isn’t it the fact that the immediate ‘provocation’ of the pogrom was assassination of the then PM by her own bodyguards who were from our community? Isn’t it the fact that they got radicalised, brainwashed and incited to commit the unthinkable crime without even realising its consequences? Let’s not mince our words while admitting that. Why shouldn’t we question our institutions over their calling the assassins Yoddhas or for glorifying them as Shaheed? Despite uneasiness to many, I will keep saying what we went through was because of terrorism in Punjab at that time. And the fact remains Hindus saved us. Let’s also resolve not to let those forces to raise their heads again. I am doing my bit. What about you? JaiHind🇮🇳
