@British_Airways our BA247 flight from LHR to EZE has been diverted to Lisbon. Your customer services don’t seem to realise there’s a whole plane of BA passengers stuck in Lisbon and have no information. No messages to passengers, very piecemeal info. Can you urgently update?

📢 FACT CHECKING NEWS! Over the past decade there has been an explosion in fact checking and fact checking orgs. A few years ago, we noticed that there was a wave of people asking "does this fact checking thing really work?" and "where's the evidence?" Vital questions.

So pleased to see this published and to have partnered with @thomasjwood and @EthanVPorter on this while @FullFact - it’s hugely important research testing the effects of *real* fact checks produced by fact checkers, tested across *4 countries*, and with effects tested over time

During last year’s general election campaign we were lucky enough to be able to commission @BritainThinks to explore the attitudes towards and the impact of bad information on voters, thanks to funding from @NuffieldFound. Here’s what we found:
