In Islamic eschatology - specifically drawn from Hadith literature rather than the Quran directly - martyrs or pious men are promised 72 hoors (hoor al-'ayn) in Paradise. These are often described as:
"Maidens with wide, lovely eyes"
"Pure and untouched"
"Created for the pleasures of men in Jannah"
This description appears in Sahih (authentic) Hadith collections like Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah - though interpretation and emphasis vary across schools of thought.
Critically:
These hoors are not women from Earth who earned their place.
They are created entities, described as rewards.
There is no theological mention of their consent or will — they are given, not free.

Here’s where the conflict arises.
❌ Objectification & Eternal Servitude:
If we interpret hoors as beautiful, sexualized beings created purely for male gratification, then:
They have no moral autonomy.
Their entire existence is instrumental — they are not partners, but possessions.
They reflect a heavenly version of the male gaze.
This raises the uncomfortable question:
Can Paradise be just, if it includes beings who are rewarded to others without their own choice?
If women on Earth are told they must submit in this life, and men are told they will be rewarded with even more submissive women in the next — it reflects patriarchal continuity, not divine justice.

Even without a feminist lens, the logic collapses when examined philosophically.
If hoors are sentient - then creating them without choice for eternal servitude amounts to:

Either way, it undermines the moral weight of Paradise.

To escape critique, some modern scholars:
Treat these descriptions allegorically.
Emphasize that the ultimate reward is God’s presence, not carnal pleasures.
Suggest that hoors represent divine beauty, not literal virgins.
But such reinterpretations, while thoughtful, often fail to override centuries of traditional literalism that has deeply influenced culture — especially radical ideologies that exploit this myth to recruit young men with promises of sensual afterlives.
