Prime is company that indoctrinates students from day 1 to get into the lease purchase program where they are the finance company, the plate is in their name, loads come from them. Dee's job at Prime is instructor & to lure in new entrants 2 lease purchase. Probably with kickback

I'm a single mother too , my kids are in their late 30's early 40's so the story Dee Sova is telling without identifying her youngest is 37 and when she went to Prime was an adult starts out as misleading as you can be & you cannot be independent at Prime end of story.

The ATA needs good PR, Dee Sova is willing to go on National TV @FoxBusiness to tell a lie. She is under the wing of the owner of Prime & ATA. No one working at Prime in a lease purchase program is an independent contractor , they are sharecropper truckers, misclassified workers

The 1980 Motor Carrier Act deregulated trucking, easing entry for non-union carriers and intensifying competition. This eroded union power: Teamsters membership fell from ~60% in 1980 to under 10% by 2000. Drivers shifted to lower-wage, by-the-mile pay, weakening collective bargaining for better conditions and protections. Implications persist in high turnover and exploitation.

The ATA represents corporate trucking interests. They undermine the drivers by lobbying the Feds to implement laws and policies that benefit big trucking companies at the expense of the drivers
