It would be good to figure out why most of our Bachelor’s degree holders are just fine with diverse viewpoints, but a minority seem to pick up the lesson that they are the pinnacle of rarified taste who must protect the rest of us benighted souls from our own worst instincts.

Those most threatened by longform podcasting as being too low brow and thus dangerous to society, typically have a postsecondary degree. It’s usually a Bachelor’s degree as in the case of @jrpsaki, @oliverdarcy or @brianstelter. The working class & PhDs are getting on just fine.
