@sagartheamruth Wonder about something yourself, then make others wonder the same. I don't remember where I read that, but it fits the viral narrative.

Psych. There is no formula. But genuine curiosity. Most of it came from us reading through Slipz’s replies on X about how they actually run Speed’s streams, the gear they carry, how they manage network bonding, uptime, and all the technical chaos behind the scenes. It was one of those rabbit holes where you read one reply, then another, then suddenly you’re deep into how one of the most insane IRL streaming operations in the world actually works. That’s where the video came from. Not from sitting and thinking “let’s make a viral reel”, but more like “wait, this is actually insane, why is nobody explaining this properly?” And that’s honestly what most good content comes from at Team VM. Either the team or Varun see something interesting, get genuinely curious, read deeper than most people would, and then we find a way to explain it so everyone can understand it. When content comes from that kind of genuine curiosity, it is usually bound to go viral because people can feel there’s an actual obsession behind it, not just solely about us trying to package a trend.

A couple of weeks ago, we posted a Varun Mayya video about IShowSpeed’s streaming setup. It got 11M views, an Asmongold reaction, and it’s been spreading across every platform since. Here is the exact “viral formula” we used. 🧵👇

101 -> 202 followers in 3 days, this is huge for me. It feels unreal that X can grow this fast. The first 100 took about two weeks, now it’s just days. Trust in the process and it will compound.

@JAKETRINDER_ true, I noticed that everyday when i used to audit ux for product companies. they use to ask how to get more people to join, when there onboarding said something like, we do this and do this, ad can do this too, all at once, making people confuse and leave.

The clients we do our best work with all have these in common: 1. A product or service that genuinely gets results for their customers 2. A founder or expert willing to show up on camera 3. Patience to let the compounding work 4. Trust in the research even when their gut says otherwise 5. A sales process that can actually convert the leads YouTube sends them YouTube can build the audience. It cannot fix a broken offer or a broken sales process.

@Zamby_YT @PaddyG96 depends on the game, the audience, and your video and the packaging. video doesn't means just the qualiy it means the experience viewers has watching the video.

@PaddyG96 How much does continuity really matter between uploads for gaming specifically? I've seen some channels have great overlap with game audiences, and some channels seem to have very little where the games are very different but the idea is always good.

@keeKayNeNe @PaddyG96 bro, check your retention on each video, and also the ctr. you will get the idea if the packaging is good enough to make people click or not. and remember if ctr is 10% now, it will decrease as impressions increase

@PaddyG96 I figured in the creative process but was definitely curious how many are using generative ai to add to their videos

@nick_ar_ @PaddyG96 i tested a format and it went to 1k in just 4 videos. so purely depends on how you position it. just don't try to change the complete category of the current channel, because it haywires the algorithm.

@PaddyG96 When testing a new format on your channel, how many videos should you give it before deciding it doesn’t work vs refining and trying again?

@Llamma4K @PaddyG96 and then in future when you have audience who watches you regularly, make a side project that is high quality with hooks, and pacing, flow, and package. make it just side project, do not compromise current videos for it. and deliver it.

@astitva004 @PaddyG96 Fair. I should be specific. The cap I'm describing is on credentialed prescriber content discussing scheduled medications. That's a narrower YMYL tier than general health or wellness. The diagnostic question still stands at that tier.

@JMurphy091225 @PaddyG96 ohh. that migth trigger yt's t&c if not executed carefully. I would say if you want to grow, try to make people click, have curiosity, and open loop questions on title and thumbnails, so when you have a high ctr, you can know what exactly is working and not.

@FloWritesCode @PaddyG96 as alex hormozi says, try to figure out your niche and provide them with a value no one else provides, or make something people want, and give value no one else gives.

@PaddyG96 I've done iOS app coding tutorials for years (on the side) and want to get serious about my YT channel now. The content doesn't do well anymore. I'm thinking about doing courses (to bring back viewers), devlogs or other content related to coding instead. What would you suggest?

@FloWritesCode @PaddyG96 because if you make course on a topic anyone can use ai to learn or there already exists in abundance, you need to be extremely different, and provide what no one is providing now, that will make it most valuable
