I’m the Senior Director of @tpusafaith , and I’ve been in that room twice, once before I was on staff, and once after. First, let’s clarify: this was not a @TPUSA event, and James O’Keefe doesn’t work for us. But here’s what @tucciarone2026 didn’t mention… In 2023, I was there early in the night with a small group of faith leaders to support @ericmetaxas, who had been invited to speak by @JamesOKeefeIII. In the middle of an environment not too dissimilar to the example here, Eric stood on stage and boldly preached Christ. (@ericmetaxas can confirm this.) At the same time, a few of us from @tpusafaith were gathered quietly in the corner praying for Eric, the people in the room, and for God to move in that exact moment. We left after Eric was finished and I watched multiple young people thank Eric for what he shared on the way out. That’s what we do. We try and bring the light of the gospel to all of the environments we’re invited to, knowing that it’s very much not a given that those who share a political affiliation with us necessarily share the faith (or are at different stages of their journey). The conservative movement draws people from all kinds of places, some grounded, some curious, some just showing up for the scene. We don’t run from that reality. We step into it so that when the moment comes, the gospel is actually present. That’s one of the reasons TPUSA Faith exists. And it’s why Faith Night at AmericaFest matters and it’s why Charlie consistently gave us the main stage to share the gospel with thousands who might not otherwise hear it —and why that continues. We’re not endorsing every environment. We’re making sure no environment is beyond reach.
