@KristiTalmadge and then the freaking mayor and other officials appear in public with a representative of the BDSM community in front of the high school to normalize that behavior in front of children. these people are SICK.

This has gone very wrong for a lot of Women (and some Men) Women read that "50 Shades of Gray" book, or watched the movie, that made BDSM sound sexy (I was not one of them, but I read it after we broke up and other Women told me their stories) Then they get the crap beat out of them by men who are also emotionally abusive and unstable but seem "normal" to most others, so it's hard to get people to listen and believe you.

The things I know about the "BDSM Community" that I wish I did not can only be told to you in DM or on the phone. I dated a guy for 6 months, and let me tell ya, they're very good at brainwashing vulnerable people so they fit right in with other propagandists. That's the guy my Puerto Rican friend in Hartford saved me from one night, who eventually went to prison for manslaughter over drugs, who I said I still talked to because he came over right away when I called for help. They're not easy to break up with, and that was my second dangerous relationship in a row, which is why I stopped dating around 2010. They don't start off mean. They know how to manipulate people slowly, and I realized it too late. They don't like the word "no" either. There are lots of reasons I don't like to deal with too many people anymore and why I understand how they were able to mess up people's heads into believing things that are actually detrimental to them. 211 tried to send me to a domestic violence shelter in Bridgeport when I lived in Wethersfield, and I had no car, so I decided to take my chances, and my VERY BIG Puerto Rican friend came to rescue me. Add it to the reasons I love Puerto Ricans so much.
