I am aware of the disturbing incident targeting worshippers during Friday prayers outside the Baitul Mamur Mosque in Brooklyn, where a man praying was struck with an egg. 

That hateful act is unacceptable and an affront to the values that define us as New Yorkers. 

My administration is committed to rooting out anti-Muslim hate in all its forms and ensuring every New Yorker can live and worship in safety and dignity. The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating this incident.

In regards to Mixtape - since that's all I see everyone talking about, I'll just say this. I'm the target audience, I graduated High School in 2000 afterall, so yeah, I was a teenager in the 90s. So I think it's pretty telling that the ONLY song on the entire soundtrack that I've actually heard was one from the 60s, "Have You Seen Her". I don't know what radio stations they were listening to, but I certainly wasn't listening to that noise. Where's Hole, the Foo Fighters, GreenDay, Offspring, Radio Head, The Smashing Pumpkins, REM? - and that's just off the top of my head.

State laws in places like Texas, California, and Ohio actually forbid "private clubs" from restricting liquor sales. ​So while Edward is busy playing bouncer and checking IDs for a $1.50 hot dog, half the people walking past him could legally just say "I'm here for the Kirkland Vodka" and walk right in.
