A post-mortem on my @EmpyrealSDK $EMP (+ $SIMMI) investment: This is for transparency since I was an outspoken advocate for the project for years, and also because potential new investors should know some things. Let's start with the good. I believe that @empyrealdev (Empyreal lead, Johnny) has some brilliant insights. If you catch him on the right day, his vision is incredible, and something that anyone might want to support both due to general value for the space and because of investment return potential. And I was a big investor, both with market buys, and also several years ago with a $400k angel investment (to support engineer hiring and growth plans for the project) in exchange for $EMP tokens on a smart contract-based vesting schedule. The per-token price was actually greater than market value at the time of execution (and much higher than current value), which may seem crazy on top of the vesting, and you can call me stupid (many have?!), but consider that I was already otherwise a very big investor in the token and project and I really did strongly believe in the vision and wanted to support it. [aside: it is, then in that context, really sad to now be attacked by Johnny and the team, in the way that I have, and I think that reflects very poorly on them]. Also, Empyreal is one of the few projects out there that actually ships products, repeatedly. This is not a vaporware situation. The problems arguably (though this first point is debatable, I suppose) start with how many times and how quickly Johnny pivots from one thing to the next. This has left a landscape littered with partially completed visions or functioning products that are under-supported and/or didn't get follow-through to achieve their potential, and confused/ frustrated users, and often a mismatch for investors from what they thought they were investing in versus what is now the focus (this definitely happened to me). Sometimes, this could perhaps be seen early recognition that something isn't going to work, or of a new opportunity. But it has long since become a major pattern, and one that has resulted in a team that is stretched way too thin, chaotic messaging, and lack of trust. Over the last six months, the pivot was to a prediction market platform: @CallMyBluff_io. Some cool features/ archicture were envisioned, and there is a working product. But, there was tons of over-hype along the way, too. In August, official messaging that launch was "Imminent". Then no. In September, same. But no. Then promised October 15 date for releasing the full product. Finally, something did come out on Oct 15, but it was buggy as hell and only partially functioning, and Johnny and the team downgraded their talk about this to "soft launch." But Johnny announced that promotion would ramp up as they released features and that by the end of 2025, Bluff would be a major player and have major market share of the prediction market space (of course... the team did not deliver the updates, and has even pivoted AGAIN, since then). Of course, investors were responding to the hype and statements. I was, myself, with big new investments and promotion of both $EMP and $SIMMI. So, it was frustrating when things didn't happen. But over this time, Johnny was becoming increasingly mercurial with the community... seemingly any question or discussion point could result in a TG participant being absolutely berated and mocked. Bans became super frequent. The community withered as people left, with some remaining ppl just keeping their mouths shut, with just the cult yes-men types remaining as vocal supporters. Everyone who even asked a question about the hundreds of hanging threads or broken promises, or what plans for promotion were (when, it already hadn't happened when stated) accused of "FUD." They would claim that no one had suggestions, but good, thoughtful suggestions from experienced community members (many, not just myself) were ignored, repeatedly. Many of us have seen this movie before, and it doesn't end well. But both public and private warnings to Johnny and the team, did not respond with meaningful changes to the way they were operating, and the cycle got worse and worse and shorter and shorter. Johnny and the team are spinning this hard, and they'll say that ppl like me were so obnoxious because of disagreements about marketing (when that is of course just a small minority of the issues at hand, that were being raised, and that exist). Anyone external can of course decide for themselves -- I'm just sharing the above perspectives here for completeness and to explain why I am no longer supporting the project.

Back in July you promised 2% of $ROOM supply to those trading and staking the token up until July 28th (attached screenshot) But never delivered nor mentioned it once ever since, now 3 months later. You even DMed me to stop asking you to hold your engagement under your posts as if doing so was a FUD attempt I was tracking daily and know for a fact I was one of the biggest traders and stakers, as well as one of the few vocally supporting backroom on CT, since the token's hype was basically dead after the @DegenApe99 + @VaderResearch drama where you already hinted at who you really are. It is what it is. Kinda huge opportunity cost for me back then. But we get acquainted to being soft rugged by "builders" nowadays. So congrats on your @AerodromeFi deal. You're moving on to new liquidity sources and leaving early @virtuals_io supporters behind. Not detrimental to the project, business as usual, since on your side no one is holding you accountable, contrary to @jessepollak But I just found it funny that you're accusing Jesse of having a wrong stance —"hurting the ecosystem"— when your trackrecord demonstrates how mischievously opportunist you are in that ecosystem. There's very little doubt you'd be 1000 times more shady than Jesse in his position. You cannot ask for examplariness when you embody a substantial amount of what's wrong in said ecosystem

Leur MVP est cool. Par contre ils ont un peu foiré l'intégration et la justification de leur token dans le produit IMO. Mais si jamais ils adaptent ça, y'a un bon potentiel. Y'a sûrement moyen de leur suggérer des améliorations d'ailleurs.

Comme je l'ai dit c'est un peu tôt pour aller sur des projets à risque, mais ces 2 là sont des projets à ne pas sous-estimer imo
