Today under Trump’s Executive Order, Haskell Indian Nations University was forced to lay off 20-30% of its staff members, including teachers. Trump is robbing our Native college students, and in turn our tribal nations’ futures and he knows it.

Nearly 2 million acres of Indigenous lands are reserved for state prison systems in 10 states. In 2024, those lands disbursed an estimated $33m in funding to carceral facilities & programs. Four states use those lands to fund detention facilities and systems for children. 🔗⬇️
