Three days of the @washingtonpost and @nytimes and still no editorial condemnation of the mega boobytrap brutal war crimes by Israel in Lebanon. Such boobytraps of products used by civilians is a flat out violation of international law. Silence. No editorials, no columnists. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? There would be no space left for the condemnation that would flow out of these two newspapers. -R

Gaza: In the largest and most shameful concentration camp of the 21st century, Israel is genociding the Palestinians one neighborhood at the time, one hospital at the time, one school at the time, one refugee camp at the time, one 'safe zone' at the time. With US and European weapons. And amid the indifference of all "civilised nations". May the Palestinians forgive us for our collective inability to protect them, honoring the most basic meaning of intl law.

More than 23,000 people killed. 1.9 million displaced from their homes. Children starving to death. What’s going on RIGHT NOW in Gaza is a horrific humanitarian disaster and we cannot turn our backs on it. Congress must act.

I can’t get over the Palestinian rep at the UN saying 1,000 children in Gaza have needed amputations without anaesthetic. Think of cutting a limb off a child with no pain relief. Imagine it was in Europe, US, Ukraine. The moral indecency of those enabling this is off the scale.

Gaza has no iron dome. And Palestine is not Ukraine. The world is fine with millions of people in a tiny overpopulated strip living with no basic rights under occupation, so of course they won’t mind civilians wiped out in a sick show of force correlated with Israel’s elections.
