@NoahRyanCo I do "post failure" reps with the weight somewhere in the middle of the motion, where the target muscle is still exerting as much force as I can but not enough to move it further and I hold the tension for as long as I can. It's how I got over my wrist/elbow tendon pain

Muscle gains make you look strong, tendon gains make you FEEL strong. Your force output is limited by your tendons. When you hear of people getting "superhuman strength" from adrenaline surges (lifting a car off a baby etc.), its because you're overriding this neurological stop limit. Increase tendon strength and you increase total safe output capacity. The dense, grounded, and solid feeling you're after is dictated by connective tissue. Muscle adaptation takes weeks, tendon adaptation takes month. Collagen turnover is slow. Train isometrics, add plyometrics, prioritize nutrition for connective tissue. Real game changer in terms of strength profile.

I said Oda had to adjust how he writes the story. I never said that adjustment resulted in poor planning nor did I say or insinuate the story in its current form isn’t “ideal”. Ideally he finishes the series and it remains weekly so that it finishes before another decade passes. If abridging it gets us to the finish line in a satisfactory way that benefits Oda health-wise, I’d say THAT is ideal.

Oda is showing signs of a mangaka who's used to writing slow paced arcs where he takes his time & can really lock in on all the minute details of each plot point he pens, but now has to speed it up bc he physically can't produce the extra 15 chapters per year he needs to do that as effectively as he once did. And since he doesn't want to write OP into his 60s he's abridging shit & cutting his least fav parts of the series to draw. Fights. He's not washed. He just has to take his time in flashbacks & that's why it feels that aspect of his pen hasn't diminished. In the FB he only has to focus on 1 or 2 plot points. Outside of flashback he has to focus on a lot of different plot points bc he WANTS to properly scale the story to where it's headed end game. That just requires a lot more time & panel space than he has access to given his physical/age limitations & his desire to enjoy the remainder of his life outside of his work.

Can we talk about how useless and pathetic maki was during the Sukuna raid? The only hit she landed was the one Yuta set up for her. Other than that she just gave Sukuna 2 free black flash amps and his domain back. It might ha been better if she just stayed home.

@atroce01 @GokutoX It is it’s not a change in application of the technique, it’s literally just an increase in scale and precision, precision is a refinement, and scale is something that can conceivably be achieved my just inputting more CE into the technique.

@atroce01 @GokutoX CTR alone would sky rocket Yuta’s power because it could be applied to any of his copied cursed techniques. Sure, but after EOS going into Modulo all Yuji was doing was refinements as well.
