St Peter’s Community Gathering has hosted its annual Christmas Dinner and Afternoon Party for senior citizens. The much-loved event took place on Tuesday, December 9, at West End Methodist Church on Trafalgar Square, bringing local residents together for an afternoon of food, music and companionship. I am appalled by this attack on a mosque last night. We must unite in these times and stand strongly against hate, division and attacks on our communities.

I am horrified and appalled at the attack on worshippers at a synagogue in Manchester, on the holy day of Yom Kippur. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. I am speaking to local police about the safety of constituents and urge everyone to follow their advice.
