I also know so many people have been racking themselves asking questions about how could this have happened, and I have been right there as well. I have always asked for all records and all surveillance videos to be released in the wake of this because there are so many questions. I still think Utah and UVU should release them. They argue about it affecting the trial, but the trial is already being affected. I was also one of the first people to raise the alarm and publicly intervene to make sure that the trial is fully live streamed on camera
This is a unique situation in a unique time, and we can’t just ignore the way information works in the age of the internet. Blocking the release of information, always makes it look like there is something being hidden. And after years of lies from our government on so many levels, who can blame people for asking for answers - I certainly don’t. I have always support people demanding more from public officials and always will, even when it is ‘our side’ in office
The bottom line is that we need Justice for Charlie, his family, his legacy
And justice begins with understanding, open communication, and full transparency. Charlie believed in that
