@Bruhsali17 @RobbieBarwick I do have an issue with zoning regulations. And building codes. And taxes. Governments are the problem. Immigrants should only be allowed to enter if the locals have spare resources. Governments don't spend their own money. They should do as little as possible.

@attila75 @RobbieBarwick Restrictive government regulation forcing single family zoning that you have no issue with. Regulations that were passed to maintain segregation. More immigrants coming in? Better build more housing... You are ignoring the point, government can and should build housing

@AshPolitik What's good for Australian mining companies is good for all productive Australians. What's good for labor unions is destroying the entire Australian private sector. You do the maths.

Donations to a party from entities representing hundreds of thousands of workers for campaigns to lobby for the betterment of all Australians, workers and their families is vastly different to elistist billionaire controlling one politician and her cultist party for their own selfish corrupt ways.

@attila75 @RobbieBarwick No, demand increasing does NOT increase supply. That is why there are housing bubbles. Prices are currently not under control. Governments CAN build housing, and they CAN compete with private businesses. In fact, they should, supply should surpass demand. End homelessness

Scusate per le mie opinioni pazze da estremista di sinistra, ma penso che avere una casa dovrebbe essere un diritto di base garantito a tutti senza che uno debba fare una vita di sacrifici solo perché qualcun altro deve specularci sopra.

Australia has a significant opportunity in our gas exports. Other countries have used resource revenues to build sovereign wealth funds that deliver long-term public benefit. A fair return on gas exports could help build a fund that invests in Australia’s future. sbs.com.au/news/article/a… Join the campaign: ourgas.com.au

@attila75 @RobbieBarwick What???? You're such an idiot. If supply doesn't increase, then price does. Are you saying housing should be unaffordable for those that don't already have it? How do you make housing affordable genius? So stupid

@TheKouk Bahaha. The gas infrastructure will still be required as backup for intermittent batteries. You know, when batteries are charged by intermittent energy, that makes the batteries intermittent too. And their capacity is nowhere near enough to eliminate the need for backup.

Why can't we have nice things? There are plenty of reasons, but one of the biggest is that the government refuses to tax gas exports—resources that belong to all Australians—properly. My thoughts on reports the Albanese Government has backed gas company profits over the health of the budget and the will of most Australians.

@Jerry_grey2002 @RobbieBarwick I've learned from communist propaganda when I was going up in a communist country in Eastern Europe. I've learned from my grandparents about their dispossession by the communist state. I've also learned from talented and ambitious people living in Australia who have fled China.

Australia has led the world on rooftop solar, and we can do the same if we continue this with batteries - lowering energy prices for every 🇦🇺n. Credit to Dr Helen Haines for pushing for a household battery scheme for years and Minister Bowen and the govt for implementing it. We have to ensure that lower income households and renters also benefit from electrification and the $1000s of dollars it can save households every year. smh.com.au/politics/feder…

@ChristyDanFan Criminals that don't get caught aren't in the stats. The cheap campervan I live in had 4 theft attempts the last 2 years. Twice while I was sleeping inside. In upmarket suburban Melbourne. Not a hope in hell of catching any of them.

This coming election in Victoria, all we’re going to hear about is youth crime. It’s hysteria. It’a political. And it’s there to put fear into people to vote for the Liberal Party. Data says youth crime is going down. And that has been the trend for years.
