After the Russian invasion of Ukraine left its waters heavily mined, Ukraine developed advanced sea drones to help clear the bottom of its seafloor. Now, President Zelenskyy is offering the same technology to the U.S. to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz. CBS News’ Aidan Stretch saw up-close how they work.

🔥🛢️The Russian Perm oil pipeline control station (LPDS “Perm”) was attacked earlier today, over 1,500 km from the frontline. The facility is a key Transneft hub responsible for pumping, storage, and distribution of oil through Russia’s main pipeline network in the region.

It seems that every Russian oil facility within 2200km of Ukraine is now slated for destruction (around 75% of Russia's total). Today's victim, the Russian region of Perm, where raging hellfire currently engulfs a major refinery complex.

Putin called the war a dvizhuha — Russian slang for movement, momentum, the energy of the moment. Tuapse loved the idea. Resort town. Pro-war billboards. Rosneft refinery humming on the Black Sea coast. Business as usual. Then Ukraine's drones found the refinery. Three strikes in 12 days. April 16. April 20. Last night. Russia's only major Black Sea refinery — 12 million metric tons of crude a year — is offline with no timeline to restart. Now Tuapse has a different kind of dvizhuha. Black rain falling from the sky. A 10-square-kilometer oil slick in the sea. Benzene in the air. Evacuations underway. Environmentalists call it the largest ecological disaster on Russia's Black Sea coast in years. Putin hasn't commented. State TV hasn't mentioned it. People in Tuapse are furious and afraid to talk to journalists. The war has a return address. It's Tuapse. Support link is in the first comment.

Russia’s Tuapse oil refinery continues to suffer a catastrophic fire almost 24 hours after it was targeted by a Ukrainian drone raid.

Ukrainian attack drones penetrated almost 1000 miles of Russian airspace overnight and hit an oil pipeline pumping station in the city of Perm. The facility, a key node on the Kholmogory-Klin Oil Pipeline, is engulfed in flames.

Russia’s Tuapse oil refinery and export terminal continues to suffer multiple major fires this morning after a swarm of Ukrainian drones hit the facility overnight.

The war they cheered for finally learned their address.

The fires in the Tuapse refinery are apparently getting out of control. Whatever was left of this Russian oil facility will be burnt to the ground.

Ukrainian special forces reportedly carried out a precise and extraordinary operation in the very heart of occupied Crimea. A meeting of top officers of the Black Sea Fleet was allegedly blown up in Sevastopol. According to preliminary reports, an important high-level command meeting was taking place at the site — involving officers who directly coordinated Kalibr missile strikes on Ukrainian cities. The headquarters that had directed missiles at homes, schools, and hospitals for years was reportedly destroyed. Sources claim this was the work of a unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine known as the “Madyar Wolves,” under the personal command of Serhii Mahera. The fighters allegedly infiltrated a deeply rear, well-protected facility, planted powerful charges, and detonated them precisely during the meeting. The explosion was reportedly so powerful that almost nothing of the headquarters remained. According to unconfirmed reports, several admirals and senior officers of the Black Sea Fleet were among those killed.
