Today I completed my 250th Parkrun down at the Greenway. I feel so touched at how many people showed up to demonstrate their support and kindness. Have you looked at the map of electorates won, by party? This map spells it out very clearly. The majority of votes comes from city dwellers who would be public servants, welfare recipients and mainly lower income earners. The vast majority of the rural/country/remote area, where all Australia’s income comes from, ie mining, agriculture, horticulture, fisheries etc, are LNP votes. So, the workers who keep the country viable get the least say in how it is run. #TS
