Decentralised AI is definitely one of the biggest narratives of this cycle. We @animocaventures have been tracking DeAI closely since 2022, and started engaging with veteran AI teams, like we do for gaming. Sharing more abt our lead investment in a DeAI project: 🔥@KIPprotocol Julian @julian_KIP and Jen @HumanLevelJen are veterans in the AI and ML space, having used ML techniques to serve large organisations with their data analysis needs since 2019. They were in particular specialists in the then-new techniques of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). 🧠 We engaged the KIP team in 22/23 specifically to use their RAG framework to analyse portco and investment data. This was a force-multiplier for us in light of the sheer mountain of data we receive everyday. 📊 The results using KIP’s tech were impressive, given that we didn’t have to train our own models, but were still able to use AI to analyse data. This is extremely relevant for the bulk of organisations who wish to use AI without the commitment and costs associated with model training. #KnowledgeFi framework), solving critical problems of ownership in AI The @Chainlink 2023 hackathon is strong testament of their technical creds. 🏆 Having seen firsthand how decentralized AI can be a game-changer, and having worked with Julian and Jen closely, we were glad to lead the rounds into KIP, knowing that their approach to deAI has the potential to be a force multiplier for businesses in every sector.
