@Tom_Rowsell @Civixplorer Buddhism was known in Europe through the influence of Manichaeism. It never caught on (though Manichaeism did for a time). Likewise Tengriism was known, the Mongols had no interest in spreading their religion to outsiders, and instead took on foreign religions.

@Tom_Rowsell @Civixplorer It's rather doubtful considering those religions did spread and exist in other places. Armenia was once Zoroastrian. They adopted Christianity. It never really spread further than that. Even Iranic people in Anatolia worshiped the Greek gods historically.

いつも思うんですが「クルアーンを詠むにはアラビア語でないと本当に理解できない」なんて宗教が寛容なわけないですよね。最大のイスラム国であるインドネシアは当然アラビア語を使ってないけど「お前らには理解できないよ」なんて言ってる宗教をなぜ信じてるのか疑問なんですよね。

結局ね「日本のロリペドアニメが許せない」って主張に対して「なんで？それを理論的に説明して？」ってどんなに言っても無駄ってことが分かった。「オレは生理的に受け付けない」って言ってもらえばすっきりするんだけど、なんのかんのと理由にならない理由を行ってくるからイライラするんだよ。ただそうなると難しい。「生理的に無理」なものを論理的に説得できるわけがない。困ったもんだなあ。解決法が全く見えないや。

@VkDRj7J5k1sXrAg Yes. I'm not Japanese so I won't pretend to understand everything about Shinto, but from what I know all of it is considered evil in Islam. It is not just "we do it differently." Shrines, ancestor veneration, sacred objects, offerings, music, dance, these are all considered evil.
