@GaySpceSocialis @nocontextgayy You know exactly what it means. His internalized homophobia makes him averse to outward displays of homosexuality, which commonly and stereotypically means more flamboyant or feminine behavior in gay men.

@epwol @ayeejuju You should get this app, especially if you live near a faultline. It’s enlightening to see how many earthquakes occur all the time. There’s at least one every few minutes.

@ayeejuju idk what that means, but that amount of earthquake is crazy, I thought only maybe 5-6 occurred, why don't we hear more about these??

@questionableway The thing I always find incoherent about gender critical ideology and the claim that all trans people are simply mentally ill is that, if they truly believed that transexuality is a mental disorder, how does bullying them help..? The whole train of thought is idiotic.

@TheChaiDude @hauntedcastl3 @loveandlightok We live in the present. Even if we are an anomalous timeframe in the grand scheme of the Earth we must preserve it or persevere around it in order to survive. You seem to be some kind of nihilist. Why don’t you just kill yourself and free up the waste of space?

@TheChaiDude @hauntedcastl3 @loveandlightok The ecosystem is a miraculous balance of hundreds of thousands of different complex equilibriums that while, in a closed system increased CO2 might benefit plant survival in the short term, the effects of that CO2 on the larger environment will cause those plants to die anyways.

@hauntedcastl3 @loveandlightok Carbon dioxide which is bad for humans is literally plant food. If we generate more CO2, more plants will fill the planet. How is that good or bad in any manner? It is just what it is

@vonputthecityon @bdhierro Of course, that’s just considering it from a personal opinion point of view, ignoring the environmental dangers and copyright issues involved in the creation of AI art.

@vonputthecityon @bdhierro It’s dystopian that the world now favors efficiency and quick results over meticulous, heart-and-soul-produced art. Since AI can do it so fast, there’s hardly any awe I feel when I look at generated art.

@WinningPres45 @HQNewsNow You’d think that the brilliant minds of the Trump Administration would thus fund methods to track outbreaks and pinpoint this obvious treason. I wonder why they don’t?

@HQNewsNow Gee ...I wonder if leftists would engineer a severe diarrhea outbreak, in order to point fingers at the Trump administration ? No, they would never do something unconscionable immoral, in pursuit of their political agenda (coronavirus). They are vile scumbags. FOOL US ONCE !@

Cyclosporiasis, the parasite causing the current explosive diarrhea outbreak, is at a level 20x higher than its yearly average. This comes just 1 year after the Trump admin removed a cyclospora tracking mandate from the 'Foodborne Disease Active Surveillance Network.'

@auspiciousposts @suchnerve My point is actually to rely less on video surveillance and more on technologies like Flock. I’d rather not be recorded and video stored on some media. There must be some middle ground right? If we remove all surveillance, it becomes harder to prosecute criminals.

@mriksman @suchnerve I never understand people like you. “They’re already walking all over us, so why not let them make it worse?” The police already have a basically omniscient database of citizens; setting up Flock cameras to track people’s movements with more accuracy is completely unnecessary.

@suchnerve I honestly don’t understand the issue with Flock cameras. It targets cars/number plates. Super helpful for investigations. It keeps people safe without having to continuously record video (like CCTV - which operates all over America). If there are bad actors/police - fire them.

@HMorrisfac22384 But a majority of morality stems from natural law. Death is bad, so the avoidance of death is the main priority. Raping, harming, and stealing from another person is bad because its consequences bring one closer to death, and the collective community can shun you because of it.

@HMorrisfac22384 I think that maybe some aspects of what we think of as morality come from mythology, especially things like chasteness, because Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, etc. have been around for literally thousands of years, it’s impossible for them to NOT have an effect on culture.
