This picture now retroactively goes in the hall of fame

I was a captain at Mizzou and now I can hardly watch the games. College sports used to build men. The portal is building mercenaries that are completely disconnected from the universities they "represent". It's antithetical to what college sports have always been and what they should be. I played four years at Mizzou. I knew who was going to be in the locker next to me every single day. Players now graduate with a group of guys they barely know. You can't build a bond in one semester. The joy of college sports has been destroyed with the portal. I can hardly watch my own team anymore because there are almost no players who seem like real Mizzou guys. This is true across the country. I hear it from fans all the time. They're losing interest by the day. Rivalries mean nothing because none of the players have been at the schools for more than five minutes. They're not invested in the schools and the history. How could they be? 14 of the 22 starters for Indiana's title team were transfers. All 5 of Michigans starters were transfers on their title team this year. There's no continuity. It's a disaster for both the players and the fans. The coaches hate it too. Are we all just going to sit around and let it happen? Nick Saban went to Congress to try to get this fixed. If Congress is the only way to fix it, then they need to hurry up and do it .

Ah yes, “Texas teens” named Jose Rojas-Alvarado, Oscar Armando Santiago-Martinez, Angel Lemus-Perez, and Carlos Roberto Oliva-Villeda. Good old American names. Texans through and through.

The Chicago Bulls are waiving guard Jaden Ivey after his recent anti-LGBTQ comments amid several rants on religion and other topics, sources tell ESPN.

Finally somebody said it… I have no problem with LBGTQ but at the end of the day open your bible god calls it an abomination getting canceled or losing your job for speaking the TRUTH is despicable. He said nothing wrong he’s not bashing or being hateful just speaking simple truth

Jaden Ivey on Steph Curry: “He don't know Jesus... I pray he's saved in Jesus name... All that stuff isn't gon matter on Judgement Day. All them rings he got. All them rings LeBron got. All them rings Jordan got... They gon try to stop me, but I'm not. I'ma keep speaking the truth.” (h/t @JoelXLorenzi)

Conservative journalist Nick Shirley gives his speech at CPAC 2026 "America's the greatest country in the world. And people like to act like it's not, but meanwhile all the other countries had thousands of years to do it, w– we had 250 years to do it. And whatever made us the greatest country in those 250 years we need to make sure that remains that same way or else we will fall and the critics will win and we will not beco– we will not stay the greatest country, in the world."

Russell Westbrook is reportedly the "kindest teammate" behind the scenes: - Left an $8k tip for housekeepers in the NBA Bubble - Once gave Clint Capela a luxury bracelet right off his wrist because Capela liked it - Sends Jordans and tracksuits to EVERY team staffer every year One of the most misunderstood players ever.
