Almost surreal to be on my first flight since January 2020 but, of course, settled into the routine of being in a packed #Logan airport and full flight (sigh) back to the Lone Star State for @AustinTGCA Hall of Fame celebration for @nlwalling - friends & family, here we come!

Who would ever think, in mid-February in Austin, that I’d be envious of a 41-degree night at our West Yarmouth, MA house on the Cape? Cuz it’s 25 in the ATX after historic days of sub-15 temps, 8” of snow(!) and 1 hr, 14 min of electricity & heat in NW Austin in the last 45 hours

As we approach 3+ inches of snow today in Austin, Texas (so fun to walk in it & snowball fight!), it has lifted my spirits & the spirits of so many more as we pause in the midst of a terrible week to give thanks for the beauty & peace this natural weather phenomenon has delivered

Seriously, America? This is not protesting peacefully; not debate. Pro-trump mob breaching the Capital is one of the saddest days we’ve seen. Look who they got encouragement/conspiracy theories from. Apex of disgusting abuse of power & behavior. Assault on all we stand for.
