The expanded defensive role Bouchard has taken on as a penalty killer, puck retriever, and in-zone disruptive player (blocking passes especially) has been well-documented. Also tilts the ice with transition passing and in-zone offensive play. All that balances the brain farts IMO

I just don't have faith in this head coach. The team has considerably declined by every metric in the regular-season since Knoblauch's arrival. Of course, the main thing going for him was two consecutive SCF appearances... but at this rate, will they even make the playoffs?
