In SaudiArabia, two men were driving when they collided, and one of the vehicles was severely damaged.
In such a situation, it's likely that both drivers would step out of their cars in anger, exchange accusations, and the argument would escalate, drawing a crowd and perhaps even requiring police intervention, which would complicate matters further.
At that precise moment, the call to Maghrib prayer sounded, so they decided to head off together to pray, side by side near the accident site while waiting for law enforcement.

@DanKatsina50 They are prodigal sons. The NSA and FG have decided to give them all the time in the world to repent of their killing sins. During that time, they're free to attack and do whatever they like to any community. Nothing is going to happen.

“Allah will not forgive me…”
My first visit to Northern Nigeria was in 2018 when I was posted to Nasarawa State for my one-year compulsory NYSC. Before then, I had never travelled beyond Enugu State. The North was completely new territory for me.
When my call-up letter came out and I saw Nasarawa State, I prepared myself mentally for the journey.
There was no direct vehicle from Aba to Lafia, so I was advised to travel to Makurdi, Benue State first, then continue to Nasarawa. I arrived at the park in Makurdi around 4:30pm and immediately found a vehicle loading for Lafia. I entered and waited.
For over 30 minutes, I was the only passenger.
Concerned about the time, I approached the driver and told him I might need to find an alternative since it was getting late and this was my first time traveling to the North. He begged me to stay and promised:
“No matter what happens, I will carry you to your destination.”
I trusted him and went back to my seat.
Around 6:00pm, another vehicle arrived from Enugu with six passengers heading to Lafia. The vehicle I had been sitting in could only carry six people. The loaders began transferring their luggage into my vehicle and asked one of them to board another car. The group refused — they insisted on traveling together.
Then something shocking happened.
The agberos brought out my bags and told me to find another vehicle.
I was angry and frustrated. It was getting dark. I didn’t know the town. I had already waited for over an hour. When I realized the loaders were Igbo like me, I pleaded with them in Igbo. They didn’t listen.
I walked up to the driver and reminded him of his promise. I told him it wasn’t fair to abandon me now that he had seen full passengers.
He was quiet for a moment.
Then he said something I will never forget:
“If I do this to you, Allah will not forgive me.”
He asked all six passengers to come down from his vehicle and told them to board another car.
The loaders were furious. They insulted him, calling him a bad businessman who didn’t have sense.
But the driver stood his ground.
He returned my bags into the vehicle, started the engine, and began driving, with only me as his passenger.
I couldn’t believe it.
He crossed River Benue with just me in the car and kept driving. At that point, I even started feeling sorry for him. If I were in his position, would I have done the same?
About three to five minutes into the journey, he received a call from the park. Another vehicle had just arrived with five passengers going to Lafia.
He looked at me and asked, “Should I turn back?”
I said yes.
He reversed, returned to the park, picked up the five passengers, and we finally headed to Lafia.
That was my first personal encounter with a Muslim man in the North.
Till today, I still think about the spirit that made that driver willing to carry just one passenger — at his own loss — simply because he gave his word.
You may be Christian.
You may be Muslim.
You may be a traditional worshipper.
But before anything else, we are human beings.
There are good people in every religion.
There are bad people in every religion.
Your prayer should simply be this:
May you never meet a bad person irrespective of religion or tribe.

I have nominated Mr. Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance and conveyed his name to the Senate for confirmation.
Taiwo has served our nation diligently as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, leading the overhaul of our tax system with clarity, courage, and competence. His depth as an economist, accountant, and public policy expert will strengthen our fiscal architecture at a critical time.
Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite will continue to serve the nation as Minister of State at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning. Her experience across portfolios remains valuable to our reform agenda.

Happy 96th birthday to my amazing mother. I couldn’t let today end without honouring her. She raised her children largely on her own — strong, disciplined and full of love. At 96 she remains healthy and clear-minded. A mentor. An example. The blueprint. There aren’t enough words in the English language to express the gratitude her children feel.
Ẹ̀ṣẹ́ púpọ̀, Ma. Happy birthday.
Forever grateful God made me her son. ❤️

I had the exceptional pleasure of receiving the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON, PhD, alongside members of the Kaduna State Caucus of the House of Representatives, who graciously paid a congratulatory visit following my investiture as Governor of the Year 2025 by the Leadership Newspaper Media Group. Their presence was both generous and affirming.
I accepted the honour yesterday with humility, conscious that such recognition transcends any individual. It speaks to the shared resolve of the people of Kaduna State; their resilience, their faith in democratic governance, and their steadfast commitment to a more secure and prosperous future. This award, in truth, belongs to them. It reflects our collective pursuit of inclusive development, institutional stability, and sustainable economic growth.
I expressed my deep appreciation to the Speaker and the Caucus for their principled partnership. The constructive synergy between the executive and legislative arms has strengthened our capacity to deliver tangible progress and thoughtful reforms.
I am equally heartened by the unity within our great party in Kaduna State. Our cohesion of purpose continues to inspire confidence, drawing more citizens into a common vision of service, stability, and forward movement.

With a heart full of gratitude and immense joy, I received today the prestigious Governor of the Year 2025 award from the Leadership Media Group at its 18th Conference and Award Ceremony held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja. It was a deeply humbling experience for me. As I stood to receive the award, I reflected on the journey we have undertaken in Kaduna State and on the collective effort that continues to drive our progress.
I expressed my sincere appreciation to the Leadership Media Group for finding our administration worthy of this honour. I paid special tribute to its Founding Chairman, the late Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, whose courage, vision, and steadfast commitment to principled journalism established an enduring national institution. I equally lauded his dear wife, Mrs. Zainab Nda Isaiah , and members of the management team for diligently preserving and advancing his noble legacy.
I dedicated the award to the good people of Kaduna State; resilient, hopeful, and committed to peace and development. This recognition belongs to them and to the hardworking public servants across our state who labour daily to rebuild trust in governance and deliver meaningful change.
Our administration has remained focused on the critical pillars of security, agriculture, infrastructure, and inclusive governance. We understood from the outset that without peace and stability, development would be unattainable. Through sustained dialogue, strengthened security coordination, and inclusive engagement, we are restoring confidence across our communities.
In agriculture, we have repositioned the sector as the backbone of our development strategy, committing significant resources to enhance productivity, support farmers, and expand agro-processing and value chains. Our infrastructure drive, including 140 road projects spanning over 1,335 kilometres, is connecting rural communities, stimulating commerce, and unlocking economic potential. We are also investing in skills acquisition and policies that empower women, youth, and vulnerable citizens to participate fully in our growth story.
I remain profoundly grateful to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his unwavering support to Kaduna State and other sub-nationals, enabling us to excel. Indeed, no President has supported sub-nationals as steadfastly and generously as President Tinubu.
I also most warmly congratulate Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on her well-deserved recognition as Leadership Person of the Year 2025. Her life of service continues to inspire hope across our nation.
Today’s honour strengthens my resolve to serve Kaduna State with even greater dedication.
Senator Uba Sani, CON
Governor of Kaduna State.

NEW CHAPTER OF HOPE AND UNITY”
By Morrison Atigogo
On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani clocked a significant milestone—his 55th birthday. The occasion did not only draw heartfelt tributes from across Nigeria but also highlighted the transformative leadership that has redefined governance in Kaduna State. It was characterized by a deluge of moving tributes, all celebrating and espousing the milk of kindness and humanity flowing in Governor Uba Sani’s veins; his uncommon vision that transcends ethno-religious divides; the show of true political will-power and the unflinching display of courage to do the right things for the benefit of all; the passion to always foster unity among the people and ensure peaceful co-existence and the prosperity and development of all people in the state and above all, the celebration of the emergence of visionary and inclusive leadership to which all can relate.
Interestingly, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led the pack in showering heartfelt eulogies on the governor who is simply loved to bits by his people and well-spoken of throughout the country and beyond. In a detailed tribute he personally signed on December 30, 2025, President Tinubu painted a vivid portrait of Governor Uba Sani as a steadfast democrat, reformer, and compassionate leader.
Echoing the sentiments of many who took paid adverts in national newspapers to express their goodwill messages and sing the praises of the governor, President Tinubu underscored how Kaduna has indeed turned a new chapter under Uba Sani’s stewardship, emerging from past challenges into an era of unity, progress, and renewed hope.
President Tinubu referred to Governor Uba Sani as “my younger brother and friend in the struggle for democracy in Nigeria.” He reflected on Uba Sani’s early commitment to noble causes, noting, “The life, struggles, and triumphs of Governor Uba Sani glisten with golden lessons, especially for our younger ones. As a young man, he identified a noble purpose for his life: the quest for a free and egalitarian society. It was a cause that some of us chose not for personal gain or self-promotion, but for the betterment of our society and the freedom of our people.”
This theme of principled sacrifice runs deep in Tinubu’s message. He described the Governor as part of “a rare generation of leaders whose journey into power was preceded by sacrifice and principle.” The president said during the dark days of military rule, Governor Sani emerged as a pro-democracy activist who “stood firmly on the side of justice, freedom, and national unity.” He emphasizes that “at a time when fear was widespread and silence tempting, he—like a few of us—chose the more challenging path of conviction.” And noted that even in power, Uba Sani has not strayed from this essential point, instead “it has matured into statesmanship, guiding his conduct in office with humility, empathy and resolve.”
Governor Uba Sani’s legislative tenure as a senator in the 9th National Assembly has been hailed as a period of profound impact. And no less a person than President Tinubu praised him for the feat he achieved during the period. He declared Uba Sani as “a reformist lawmaker and a thinker,” particularly for his role in the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFIA) 2020.
This legislation, according to the President, “demonstrated foresight and a deep understanding of Nigeria’s future. That legislation strengthened financial stability, embraced innovation, laid a solid foundation for fintech growth and expanded access to credit for businesses and entrepreneurs. It remains a testament to his capacity to deliver enduring reforms.” Such eloquent tributes from the President of the country speak volumes.

🚨BREAKING NEWS 😳❤️❤️
Michelle Obama finally opens up on the darkest years of her marriage with Barack Obama… and what saved it 😱
“For the first 10 years of my marriage, I honestly didn’t love Barack the way I should. Our love started fading when the kids came. I was at home changing diapers, stressing, sacrificing, while he was always busy, always out… and I started resenting him. He became my biggest enemy.”
But instead of walking away, she stayed, prayed, fought for her marriage… and today she says she’s glad she didn’t give up, because Barack Obama proved his love countless times — even registering his properties in her name just to show trust, loyalty and commitment 😳❤️
They’ve now spent 38 YEARS together… stronger than ever 🥹❤️
Moral Lesson: Marriage is NOT always sweet. Sometimes love fades, sometimes you get tired… but real love is choosing to fight, choosing to stay, choosing to rebuild instead of running away 🙏❤️
