It’s a sad day. Less so because of reservations I have about Neville (though I do have those), but more because it feels like we’re hopelessly doomed to continue with the perpetual conflict between supporters and the club. #RCTID

On watching the highlights from last night, I agree with the non-PK decision. Not so VAR overturning the red card. Where is the referee error there? There was a high elbow and a stamp. Did we get an official explanation there? #RCTID

@authorpaulg @groundhopguides I'm sure it's still an accurate description of this charmingly rough-edged ground (which I visited for a Sunderland game in September 1995; I recall being able to peek into people's sitting-rooms as I ascended the stairs to the away end.)
