You are the one who is to determine this. You never asked my intention, only poured your assumptions on me. You made an ass of yourself. I’m pure in my intentions and anyone who has ever talked with me knows that I am genuine. It’s the bs stirred up by you and a few others that has left me absolutely flabbergasted. You’ve all ruined my experience with bookish communities and shown me the cryptonite to my preverbal Batman. Go through my OVER 330 videos on YouTube and count the number of indie authors to published, then make your assumptions on that. David is an absolute coward who should be ashamed of himself for prioritizing DEI over actual credentials and credibility. I’ll never choose a minority LGBT+ person for an interview solely based on those two things. However, if a black/brown/yellow/white/purple/green person has written an absolute piece of gold, then they are my number one priority, but not because they are diverse. They will be chosen because they are a master of prose, poetry, etc. The fact that I was called and told to NOT REACH OUT TO THE AUTHOR OF MY OWN CHOICE, and TOLD TO BE A JOKE OF A HUMAN & bow down to anyone checking boxes focused solely on DIVERSITY is an absolute DISGRACE and the CORE of what’s wrong with our society in WHOLE! Let’s not pretend that this was a mistake or a failure on my behalf, yet an attempt at getting me to make decisions that are wrapped in VICTIMHOOD and UNQUALIFIED people who are gaining over the REAL TALENT.
