As writers, hurry up and wait is part of the process. I'm waiting for agent notes rn (and trying not to spiral). What does everyone do to keep themselves on track? I'm 15k into my new wip, so that's a positive, but the need for notes is lurking 👀 #amwriting #WritingCommunity

@kpbooksnstuff @NatalieO73314 lol.. Age is just a number 😀
English

@NatalieO73314 Fab photo! ❤️ And 43 is no age. I'm older than you. No, I'm not telling you how much older! 😄

43 in December! Honestly, there’s no deadline age to getting published, so just enjoy the ride. ✌🏻

@Jameswriter371 All the time. That’s the dream, when the words disappear and all you see is the movie. If I can make a reader live there, I’ve done my job.
English

@Cartiswrites That gut feeling is real. Some voices carry destiny in them from day one. You heard it early, and history proved you right.
English

@KBCox_15 I’ve been there, the graveyard of almost-WIPs. But when it’s the one, you feel it in your bones. Trust that. Query bold. The right agent will feel it too. Rooting for you ✨
English

@RutlandSl31845 That’s haunting and beautiful. Our words really do outlive us. Someday someone will stumble on ours for the same hope we found in theirs. Write like it matters, because it does.
English

I have always posted writing quotes on X, some were authors long gone, but then I realised even authors whose pictures seemed recent had passed away.
That's going to all of us one day. Our words stumbled upon by a writer looking for inspiration like I stumbled upon theirs.

@KarlstanVance A dangerous plot twist! Sometimes we have to shed our disguises just to see who is still underneath. Hopefully, the twelve-year-old at least behaved himself!
English

@JessicaBhattac2 Yeah, I am.I’ve realized having someone handle the presentation and marketing side of my books really helps me stay focused and write more. It takes a lot of pressure off. Don’t worry, your journey is still valid, everyone starts somewhere.
How do you gain traction for y Book?
English

@authoryokoogawa Lucky. I’m nowhere near that level yet. My family thinks it’s a waste of time.
