@RutlandSl31845 That’s haunting and beautiful. Our words really do outlive us. Someday someone will stumble on ours for the same hope we found in theirs. Write like it matters, because it does.

I have always posted writing quotes on X, some were authors long gone, but then I realised even authors whose pictures seemed recent had passed away. That's going to all of us one day. Our words stumbled upon by a writer looking for inspiration like I stumbled upon theirs.

It’s weird how you can spend months writing something and then feel nervous showing it to one person.
