some people never have sex and here's why, an interesting article by one of my favorite nonfiction writers R. Douglas Fields. Not surprisingly #autism was a condition found to be related to sexlessness, but surprisingly sexlessness was found to be genetically correlated with higher intelligence: rdouglasfields.com/2025/10/28/som…

@autismgadfly Do they need to be explicitly stated to be autistic or can they need to be heavily implied/insinuated by the shows and/or writers? Because I have 4 more for you (one is unambiguous)

I guess Kayla Cromer's brief appearance on the last season of "The Good Doctor" and the autistic character in Elvis Presley's and Mary Tyler Moore's "A Change of Habit" The character in Sia Furler's "Music" are also examples besides Grandin and Dakota Fanning and Violet in "As We See It" of autistic female characters in movies and TV. I think there are probably others, but can't think of them now, but I may post other examples if I can think of them. First camouflage/masking and now a Hollywood conspiracy to make money explains why four times as many males are dxed with #autism as females, incredible the lengths these evil female #neurodiversity proponents go to. What will they think of next?

@neuropuckedfox What about Rishi Sunak? I think you'd consider him far right. He has a masters degree in Business from Stanford University, one of the most elite and prestigious American Colleges and I think he went to some top drawer prep schools in the UK as well.

@pdaantizio even assuming that's true it's not really relevant as the subject matter is movie and TV portrayal of female autistics and she was portrayed by Clare Danes in the HBO movie

Another topic on the "male autistic stereotypes" in TV and films is that the novel I've been working on, the main protagonist is an autistic female. But I guess I've been pretty unsuccessful and this story (even if I finish) won't get anywhere either, because Hollywood (and maybe the novel publishing industry too) is conspiring to prevent females from being diagnosed to make money.

A Hollywood conspiracy to prevent females from being diagnosed to make money from #autism related films? Will wonders ever cease. I'm curious why HBO greenlit Temple Grandin's film and how "Please Stand by" ever got off the ground. #neurodiversity. I suspect Ms. Naves has never seen "Exorcist II" and Dana Plato's performance as an #autistic girl
Liz Naves@liznaves1986

Hollywood knows what they are doing when they make a character openly autistic or autism coded. Keeping us too afraid to get tested provides amo for shows and movies. Too much money is to be made by keeping the stigma alive.

Autism has stopped being a diagnosis and has now become an identity. Christina Buttons (@buttonslives) was diagnosed at 30. It brought her relief — but it also gave her permission to stop becoming the person she was capable of being. I was struck by the piece she wrote for @TheFP, so I sat down with her this week to talk about the diagnosis-as-identity trap, the California machine turning public schools into mental-health clinics, and why agency is the most counter-cultural idea in modern American life: youtube.com/watch?v=e31FY5…

As some of you may remember, I wrote to my congressman sometime ago, urging him to introduce legislation to #abolishtheiacc. I got a response in my cell phone voice mail from his office along the lines that I had written how I was concerned about the way secretary Kennedy responded to #autism and my congressman was concerned about the allocation of IDEA funds that were supposed to go to "special needs" families and that he was trying to do something about it and they would let the congressman know about my concerns, I won't count on him introducing legislation to #abolishtheiacc though. #autism

Walter Zahorodny has stated that in some instances he believes #autism is caused by a vaccine injury, but it's probably lower than the 75 to 80% of cases that his buddy Toby Rogers estimated. I wonder if Rogers is telling the truth and Zahorodny actually did write a letter to JADD urging them not to retract Rogers', Blaxill's and Nevison's article. #abolishtheaddm #abolishtheiacc

toby rogers has given an estimate that 75-80% of #autism is caused by vaccines based on some epidemiological mathematical figure. I wonder what causes the remaining 20%
