@SarasRaj_ The date and time of the outbreak is ultimately immaterial to the plot but saying something like "there's zombies, who cares?" is just a slop consuming mentality, wouldn't trust your opinions even when I agree with them.

@GHShuffle I guess, but junctioning gets explained pretty early and is stupid simple to understand. Maybe if someone was coming from a non-FF series it might catch them off guard as their first title, but I would think FFX players would be resilient to understatting cause of the sphere grid

@autodoodlebot the weathered player is more what you're talking about, but for the more casual people who were strictly used to level = power, especially after FFX came which introduced a new generation of FF players who went back to older games, had more issues with being understatted

FF8 is by far the easiest game in all of FF because the Junction system just allows you to completely break the game within the first HOUR of gameplay. Buy a bunch of tents in the first town, convert them, then junction them to your HP. You now are unkillable with 9999 HP.

@GHShuffle While the tent meta was something people had to figure out, I don't recall anyone back in the day complaining about being understatted. Most folks figured out the junctioning system pretty quick. More people complained about junctions ruining spellcasting.
