C-Chain Round 2 has wrapped up and 3 is starting. A few observations. Build games projects now carry a substantial multiplier and some are already appearing on the leaderboard. Impact so far has been limited, which isn't surprising given many are still in the process of launching. We want to give this time to play out rather than draw conclusions too early. To that end, the multiplier rules will carry over into Round 3. No changes, just more runway for the signal to develop. One more thing worth noting: Round 1 and 2 disbursements are still in progress. We haven't yet seen how projects choose to deploy their rewards, and that will be an important input into how we evaluate the program's effectiveness over time.

April showed that Avalanche is the place to build. 🔺 A month of real progress as institutions, businesses, and builders accelerated real-world adoption on customizable L1s: @Bitwise launched the first AVAX ETF with in-house staking on the NYSE, expanding institutional access. @CMEGroup announced AVAX futures, bringing regulated derivatives to Avalanche. @Lynq_Network migrated to a dedicated Avalanche L1 for real-time payments and collateral mobility, powered by @Tassatgroup infrastructure that has processed $2.5T+. South Korea’s NHN KCP is launching an Avalanche L1 via @AvaCloud to modernize payments with fast authorization and privacy. @AxiymFinance surpassed $1.2B in volume with its Pay Now, Settle Later model for cross-border payments. USDS and sUSDS from @SkyEcosystem are now live on Avalanche, with burn-and-mint transfers via Skylink by @grovedotfinance. @GoKiteAI launched its mainnet on an Avalanche L1, enabling autonomous AI agents after 1.9B+ testnet interactions. @Skymapperspace is building an Avalanche L1 to bring verifiable onchain records to telescope data. @Broadridge, a fintech company that processes trillions from thousands of public companies, brings proxy voting onchain with help from AvaCloud. Avalanche now delivers sub-second block times for faster confirmations and high-frequency performance. The network recorded the lowest average transaction fees among major chains in April, according to @tokenterminal. The @AvalancheFDN launched grants up to $50,000 for academic research into network economics and tokenomics. Retro 9000 C-Chain Round 2 ran throughout the month, awarding additional grants for burned AVAX. Tickets for Avalanche Summit in New York this September went live at avalanchesummit.com @BlockdaemonHQ expanded institutional staking support on Avalanche with the Foundation. @AvaxTeam1 officially launched @Team1TUR & @Team1BR and supported dozens of meetups, workshops, and builder events across the globe, including an event in partnership with OVHcloud at Paris Blockchain week.
