@b05crypto @aakashgupta If this PrismML stuff pans out wouldn’t that just mean that the data centres can run multiple orders of magnitude larger models? Multi trillion param models perhaps?

This is exactly what I predicted would happen almost 3 years ago. It doesn't make me brilliant, because all I did was follow the evolution of the tech in front of us. It was so obvious. I said that the hosted models would collapse and I said that the expenditures on all these data centers would be wasted eventually. It is truly amazing how many tech VCs are so incompetent that they couldn't see this stuff coming.

The real story is the 14x compression ratio and what it means if it scales up. Every single weight in this model is one bit. Zero or one. That's it. 8.2 billion parameters stored in 1.15 GB of memory. A standard 8B model at full precision takes 16 GB. Bonsai 8B fits on your phone with room left over for your photo library. The benchmarks are the part that shouldn't be possible. On standard evals, a model that's 1/14th the size of Qwen3 8B and Llama3 8B is trading punches with both of them. The intelligence density score, capability per GB, is 1.06/GB versus Qwen3 8B at 0.10/GB. That's a 10x gap in how much thinking you get per unit of storage. Now zoom out. Big Tech collectively spent over $320 billion on data center capex last year. Amazon alone dropped $85.8 billion, up 78% year over year. Google committed $75 billion for 2025. The US power grid is buckling under AI demand. Data centers now consume 4.4% of all US electricity. Virginia, where most of them sit, saw electricity prices spike 267% over five years. Residential customers in Ohio are watching their bills climb 60% because utilities are spending billions on transmission infrastructure to feed server farms. The entire AI scaling thesis runs on one assumption: intelligence requires massive compute. PrismML just published a proof point that the assumption might be wrong. Their CEO, Babak Hassibi, is a Caltech professor who spent years on the mathematical theory of neural network compression. The founding team is four Caltech PhDs. Khosla Ventures backed it. So did Cerberus, whose Amir Salek built the TPU program at Google. The 1.7B model runs at 130 tokens per second on an iPhone 17 Pro Max at 0.24 GB. The 4B hits 132 tokens per second on M4 Pro at 0.57 GB. These aren't research demos. They shipped llama.cpp forks with custom 1-bit kernels for CUDA and Metal. Apache 2.0 license. You can download and run it right now. The trillion-dollar question: what happens to the economics of a $75 billion data center budget when the same intelligence fits in 1/14th the space and runs on 1/5th the energy?
PrismML@PrismML

Today, we are emerging from stealth and launching PrismML, an AI lab with Caltech origins that is centered on building the most concentrated form of intelligence. At PrismML, we believe that the next major leaps in AI will be driven by order-of-magnitude improvements in intelligence density, not just sheer parameter count. Our first proof point is the 1-bit Bonsai 8B, a 1-bit weight model that fits into 1.15 GBs of memory and delivers over 10x the intelligence density of its full-precision counterparts. It is 14x smaller, 8x faster, and 5x more energy efficient on edge hardware while remaining competitive with other models in its parameter-class. We are open-sourcing the model under Apache 2.0 license, along with Bonsai 4B and 1.7B models. When advanced models become small, fast, and efficient enough to run locally, the design space for AI changes immediately. We believe in a future of on-device agents, real-time robotics, offline intelligence and entirely new products that were previously impossible. We are excited to share our vision with you and keep working in the future to push the frontier of intelligence to the edge.

I hear what you're saying and it does make sense. I just worry that you might end up being an unwitting pawn in an elaborate deception campaign. In other words, if I was the NHI and knew that while you exist as a channel of communication you are nonetheless not very trusting of what I say, then it is likely that I would take that lack of trust into account the next time I share something. I worry about a repeat of the Richard Doty/Paul Bennewitz scenario, except this time involving NHI. But I do appreciate that you go out of your way to point out that the information is likely tainted. Be safe out there my friend!

That seems logical as a strategy. But here is the problem, a lot of it seperate from this issue is first hand knowledge. (PSI topics, Paranormal encounters, NHI encounters, technical details observed, etc) If I throw the baby out with the bathwater, a valuable resource is extinguished. In the same way the American Government lies about a lot of things. Yet, we still depend on them for our information and require it. I think I have taken it upon myself to point out the problems with sharing NHI controlled information and made it pretty clear to be weary. (a big brightly lit RED flag) I also use their information gathering for other...issues...and that works fine. I just wouldn't depend on it for any life saving reasons. Tainted information is not equal to useless information. (IMO/IMV) Proceed with extreme caution.

Since it is past the 27th of March 2026. I can talk about what the NHI claimed will be happening in April 2026. But I (really) don't trust them, so I will only put on display two tidbits: They talked about the USA Airspace being shut down. Similar to 9/11. Why? [NHI] "Drone" incursions. From where? South of the USA across a broad area. One NHI specified 2/3rds from the Gulf of Mexico (open waters) 1/3rd from the Landmass of Mexico. When? March 27th 2026 escalating till April 2026 (22nd to 26th Mind Map distributions shared) 19th of April 2026 is roughly the peak activity. What kind of activity? Unspecified. Incursions into US territories were only elaborated upon, no global specifics. Specific bullet points details: Discussion ongoing as to the ratio requirement to meet incitement and Intrigue vs Trauma induced on the population. They stated the hierarchy has authorized to proceed with traumatic or stress inducing experiences if needed. The intent is to make the public aware of the NHI presence without formal introductions for a future scenario, post war event. (These are Pre-War events) I euphemistically called it, leaving their calling card in public awareness. Why? Necessary introductions/insertions into the sphere of human psyche. What is to be expected: Panic, fear, intrigue, alarm. Why? Authorization by NHI hierarchy to behave in overt actions which remove the "drone" thesis or "foreign terrestrial power" (paraphrased for simplicity) as being the cause of the events. Including descending at low altitude, high visibility event, maneuvering with obvious signs of control. Intelligent motions and operation. (TBD [ongoing] high fidelity video recording of targeted events) Why? Failure of Human disclosure to meet a criterion/criteria of public awareness. Why? War event is determined to be sooner than previous timeline projection anticipated. Forced corrections and tasking needed. Escalation and media control were deemed necessary. (Perceptions Management) Disruption to Aviation expected and airspace closures are projected within time horizons (omitted by me). =========== Everything else, omitted by me. When the NHI give you this kind of heads up, they are either trying to build up credibility for some scenario. (nefarious intentions) Or they are intentionally feeding you false info to make you take the fall. I weighed my options, and frankly keeping silent and not saying anything seems like the right thing to do (self preservation when you don't trust NHI controlled information). But then, I also wouldn't be there to interject if things got crazy to tell people things are going to be "fine" (well if you don't mind War escalations). Damned if you do, damned if you don't. They (NHI) are playing a long game, our sense of trauma or fear doesn't matter if they are ordered to proceed by management despite it. So I guess again, my conscience bothers me and I should probably fall on my sword by making just the basic known so people don't freak out if they actually intend to carry out the plan/tasking to it's intended fruition. It appears there are unusual aerial events occuring in the southern USA. So my guess is, they seem serious about executing. I am independent of any Chris Bledsoe bullshit prophecies. I can only tell you what we are being informed of and they know you'll be told about it. (whoever reads this) =========== Even if everything goes according to the NHI tasked plan. It means nothing. Don't add any BS credit to me or anything, I don't care for it. It can only be exploited by the NHI for BS. If I am wrong, I am willing to fall on this bitter sword. I choose not to occult this much for my own reasons. I don't care about fame or clout chasing BS. It means nothing, other than there is an NHI networks and they do share information, rumors, gossips and alerts with one another. For you reading this, that may be a novel things. For me, it's just like stating the obvious. I don't know anything particularly sensitive. I can only say I am extremely weary when they give the a-ok to share it. That's all there is to it.

It seems to me that if one had an unreliable source of information, whether human or non-human, once it has been proven that there is malice and deception involved, the reasonable thing to do would be to not participate in their propaganda efforts and refuse to disseminate any “information” they deign to share.

I do not know if they are coming out of the water, they only shared pathways above the water and general directional heading. I have long been told the NHI have installation in the waters off Cuba and Southern Florida. I know there is always activity in Mexico, but I have no clue where it originates. If it is so, the implications are there would be incursions across the lands border. Indicating (by volume of the regions covered) California, Arizona, Texas, Luisiana, Mississippi, some parts of Alabama and Florida. As for Bledsoe, it appears to indicate there is a common source. Which is why I tell people to please keep in mind they are being attended to by the very same NHI groups under different [dis]guises. -------- People should seriously drop this inherent assertion that pre-assumes the Human being in front of them [the proxy] which they can actually see...are the ones ultimately responsible for making this stuff up. Many people are being contacted or are operating under the same control of these NHI networks, and being exposed to the same information. This does not make the necessarily make the information true. (as in having veracity with respect to actual reality) It just means they have a source in common that stays in the shadows, which you all never meet face to face or communicate with. ------------- What results is a display of power over people on the ground, like puppets. An NHI can give you intentionally bad info to discredit you in the eyes of others, or give you extremely accurate information to prop you up as some kind of guru or some other BS. That is why I hesitate to share that info publicly. Because I am fully aware of their game plays and treacherous nature and mind games. Like I said, damned if you do, damned if you don't. What should one share, and what should be kept secret? It's a dilemma. ------------- For the 1 thing I get wrong publicly, while being fed information, there might be 9 more that I got right privately. I hate spectacles. I only see "spectacles" (these days) as nefarious "opportunities" for the NHI to exploit. That's why I say, if it pans out correctly as the NHI pointed it, please don't assign anything of value to what I shared. It just means there is an NHI network and data. Nothing more. That would be the only "ground truth". Nothing more than this. It should mean, you all should be extremely weary of which NHI group or network a book author is being utilized by. Or when someone is rabidly (Bledsoe) telling you some future plot line ahead of time, you should be very weary as to why they were given that information and under what pretense or for what motivational purpose. Stop chasing after signs, and start questioning who is it you don't see behind the names.

On some level I eventually became convinced of the truth of Christianity, I think, because when you take it seriously, you discover that it has this strange but strangely compelling other-worldliness to it. The ring of something that broke in from outside -- a certain "otherness" that is somehow simultaneously utterly foreign and deeply, truly human. Christ, at the center of it, resonating with a glory that cannot be negotiated with washing the feet of His disciples.

@carmenjoyimes I was reading Exodus 21 earlier this week and though I had read it before, for some reason, this time I found the passages somewhat untenable. I then remembered that you had done a classroom series on the Bible Project on Exodus and looked it up to see if you'd covered this chapter and found that you indeed had - bibleproject.com/classroom/exod…. Suffice it to say that this was an eye-opening experience for me. Had to have been a divine appointment! Thank you for this class Dr Imes and may God bless your ministry.

The day of reckoning is coming for all. For the humans and the non-humans. Till then we humans have the opportunity to repent and turn away from the world and turn towards Jesus. He will put an end to all evil. The question to ask now is whether we’re on His side or on the side that opposes Him.

So if we grant your premise, you don’t think of what the “others” are doing as enabling the behavior of the “human ritualists”? Why would the humans stop the killing once they see that it worked the first time? If saving children was the goal why wouldn’t the others do something to stop the humans instead of giving them what they want?

Right. And yet, the emphasis on church membership and the ceremony of being a Christian seems to be somewhat higher among Catholics in my experience which tends to take away from where the focus needs to be, I think. Just my opinion. I would say that the hope for humanity lies in Christ alone and would want to emphasise that always. God bless you. Peace.

@avranju @roddreher The Catechism doesn't say the Church alone is the hope of salvation; rather, it says Christ alone is the hope of salvation -- via the one Church he left for that very reason. Your analogy is apt: Your driver (Christ) provided a service -- enabled by his car (the Catholic Church).

We all know Catholics who left the Church because of "the abuse scandal." The deeper truth is that they left the Church for half a dozen other reasons. The abuse scandal was the face-saving excuse.

Doesn’t that framing entail that it is more accurate to say that Christ is the hope of one’s salvation instead of the Church? If someone dropped me at the airport in an Uber it would be more accurate to say that the driver did me a service rather than to say that the vehicle did. What do you think?

@avranju @roddreher Sure thing. But there's no reach. It's clear as a bell in CCC 846: "All salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body"; and "the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door."

Thanks for that catechism reference. I am happy to see that it does make salvation contingent on Christ Himself but makes the Church the mechanism, as it were, through which it is accomplished. Saying that one's hope (presumably, the hope of salvation) lies in church membership seems to me to reach farther than the catechism does or at least, it seems to recast a secondary cause as though it were primary.

@avranju @roddreher It's axiomatic -- yet nuanced. Check out CCC 846-848. Nutshell: There's one way: Christ's one Church. However, well-meaning people who stray by no fault of their own -- e.g., faulty reasoning, emotional blocks, lack of exposure -- can indeed be saved despite any shortcoming.

@roddreher Our hope does indeed depend on being part of Christ's one and only infinite Church -- in its original, intended form. Our hope has nothing whatsoever to do with the predictably errant behavior of certain fallible, finite human members of that Church. That's the whole point.
