India’s gov't makes efforts to reduce public prayers for Eid al-Adha, demanding Muslims pray “in shifts” in mosques.
The leaders from Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) threatens with “another method” if Muslims don’t comply aje.news/afa7m8

A Brahmin student being called a 'Pakistani' by Modi Bhakts shocked and rightfully hurt many people across ideological lines, including several from the Right Wing itself. Because suddenly, people realised how dehumanising that label is.
But for years now, countless Indian Muslims especially those who speak up or question the government or criticise the PM are casually branded 'Pakistanis' or 'Bangladeshis' or a 'Rohingya'.
Our loyalty is questioned, our identity is regularly mocked, our citizenship treated as conditional.
And the society has normalised it so much that most people don’t even react anymore.
An insult that rightfully outraged people when used against a Brahmin student is thrown at Muslims every single day without guilt or an outrage, or without any consequences. No Indian should have to constantly prove they belong to their own country.
All thanks to the Media and the Politicians for Normalising this Hate against Indian Muslims.

The disappearance of a young Muslim man from Gopalganj, Bihar, after being attacked on a train is terrifying. His last message to his father, "They are beating me, I am messaging while hiding," shows how unsafe public travel has become for minorities. Traveling safely is a basic human right, and nobody should be targeted just because of their identity. Global human rights organizations must look into this rising insecurity. We demand @RailMinIndia take immediate action, investigate this properly, and find the missing youth safely.

#WATCH | Delhi: On the controversy where a Class 12 CBSE student, Vedant’s Physics CBSE answer sheet was allegedly switched with another candidate's, the student's brother, Siddhant Srivastava, says, “The problem was that his answer sheet was exchanged with someone else's, and the marks we received were based on someone else's answer sheet. We emailed the complaint to CBSE. We also made a video, gave an interview to a news channel, and tweeted it. When this matter received a lot of public attention, CBSE reached out to us and sent us the correct answer key… After Vedant's case was revealed, more students came forward… We want a formal portal established for other students as well, where they can report such problems directly to CBSE and not face [harassment] and trolling as we did—to report their genuine issues.”
