He's blurring the lines on purpose by using AI as a catch all term because he knows people aren't that educated on the topic, they see the term "AI" and flip out. Video game companies, film makers, artists, etc, have used AI and ML for years and years, this isn't new, but these tools used to help creatives are worlds apart from the forms of Generative AI and other forms of unethical ML we see trying to be sold to us today. That's what he's doing, he's trying to normalise the slop by mixing it in with everything else to shut down dissent by suggesting everyone does it, its not true.

Here’s something slightly different I’ve been meaning to try for ages - a remaster of the original 1962 pinhole-camera gun barrel photo from the #JamesBond opening titles. I’ve never seen a full-frame of the actual photo (does it even still exist?) and the Connery version is the only one with all the lovely detail intact. Even by Roger’s debut (pic 2) it looks like a dreadful blown-out photocopy-of-a-photocopy. So this is my attempt, made by stacking 4K grabs from Dr No, with extensive cleaning and tarting-up and recolouring of the bits we only see when the barrel jerks around once the blood has drenched the image. If you’re on a mobile please ‘Load in 4K’ for the full effect. Maybe someone might find this useful? If nothing else it’s quite a pretty thing to gaze at for a while!

Who knows what the margins are on this, but there's a cost to getting production started which is more easily subsidized if you're making tens of millions of units, which Neo Geo won't

The 1.4M drop in enrollment this year is from expired enhanced premium tax credits raising costs for eligible people—mostly U.S. citizens and lawfully present immigrants. CBO/KFF confirm separate 2025 law changes hit ~1.4M lawfully present immigrants with coverage losses, not undocumented. They weren't on federal ACA "in the first place."
