Since last week, my Twitter and emails have been under constant attempts at hacking, with a stream of phishing emails thrown in as well. I honestly don’t know why some people waste so much energy trying to break into what isn’t theirs. Let me be clear: you can keep trying, but you won’t succeed. I stay alert, I protect my accounts, and I move smarter. Every time you think you’re close, I’m already 7 steps ahead. So if hacking me is your mission, prepare for a long, frustrating road.

UPDATE: Although @official_NSCDC has refused to respond to the issue I raised regarding the criminal activities of their CTU unit in Ado-Ekiti, I can confirm that both the commander of the unit and the Ekiti State Commandant have been summoned to Abuja. I’m also aware that the @NigBarAssoc has reached out to the lawyer involved. Thank you to the Honourable Minister of Interior, @BTOofficial.

The rogue officers have refunded the ₦5 million they extorted. However, several people in my comment section have come forward to share similar experiences, confirming that the @official_NSCDC CTU unit in Ado-Ekiti is notoriously abusive and dangerous. I am calling on the @ekitistategov to urgently intervene and take decisive action to rein in these criminals in uniform especially since @official_NSCDC appears to be turning a blind eye to these repeated violations. The #EndSARS protest is still very fresh in our collective memory, and it was this exact kind of abuse of power and professional misconduct that sparked it. cc: @biodunaoyebanji
