Google Meet is an order of magnitude better than Zoom. It’s also free. I straight up don’t get why people use Zoom.

most tweets/opinions about ai has been that jobs will go away. a company never wants to get a fixed amount of work done and they would keep doing more things if they were able to. probably jobs keep on increasing because ai removed execution as the bottleneck

everyone's talking about taste today. but most engineers still...don't get it? a while ago we changed all our job posts to say 'software engineer with taste' and told people to email me with two things: 1. an app that is beautifully made 2. their best work emails poured in! i was vv excited and then i was not. most had the same ai generated answers with personal websites that were ugly even if you squint. you can tell when someone discovered taste in 2026. if you didn't care 5 years ago, you don't have taste. its a grift. but its the hardest grift to pull off.

Personal news I'm moving on from @StarkWareLtd in a few days to embrace an empty calendar. It's been a real pleasure to have dedicated the last 2 years to Starknet right from when the ecosystem was nascent to such a mature place it is in now.
