Another great #community day - wetland planting across our #riverrestoration site in @Hillingdon. Despite the☔️ - we were joined by a SUPER team of staff & #volunteers 2 put the finishing touches on the newly regraded banks of the #YeadingBrook! Now watch them grow🌱#SpiderPark

(2/2) We’ve been working 2 improve the previously degraded, overshaded channel by restoring a more natural shape - giving the river space 2 move & connect with the park, adding gravels + deflectors + wetland plants to help reduce flooding, & improve #waterquality & #biodiversity

(1/2) We had a blast planting the newly regraded banks of the Yeading Brook @ #SpiderPark - the finishing touches on our #riverrestoration project with @Hillingdon supported by the Smarter Water Catchments Initiative with #SWC partners getting muddy & planting >1000 plants!
