At @cmmnknwledge, we’ve been working on replacing the phone homescreen with a live document that changes throughout the day with the information you need. We’re looking for beta testers to try it out and help shape the this experience with us.

@BillDA@thesamparr@myfirstmilpod sadly i don't remember which episode it was but maybe @thesamparr remembers or someone else can help you out... For some reason I feel like it was the Native deodorant guy, but not sure
on a @myfirstmilpod episode a year or so ago, i remember a guy with a dog supplements company was on and @thesamparr asked "do they work?"
guy responded: "I dont know dude, ask the fucking dogs"
and they both laughed
i think about that a lot and am quite frankly inspired

@montyreport Agreed with most of the replies, one other thing to consider is if you ever have a large insurance claim after paying the house off, you’ll be the only one motivated to get it sorted (vs. at the moment your mortgage company would go to bat as well)
Some facts, and then a question:
- I am self employed.
- My wife is self employed.
- We have two kids, one on the way.
- A decent chunk of our net worth is in crypto (~50%)
- We love our house. It's our "forever" place.
- We have a 2.85% mortgage with 25 years left.
Given that I have so much risk exposure on one end of the barbell (self employment + crypto), I am thinking about just paying off the mortgage so I have ultimate stability at the other end of the barbell.
Yes I know the math would say this is a bad idea. Yes I know cheap debt is valuable in an inflationary world. But a paid off mortgage would also feel like a pretty great result even if I somehow managed to round trip everything else this cycle. Also psychology and peace of mind, etc.
Thoughts?

He got a Nintendo Switch 2, two pro controllers, pre-ordered Pokemon Z-A, and more. Left very happy!
Momentum is so real. Sometimes my brain just doesn't want to function. But I'll put out a tweet anyway. Then I'll see a rush of likes come in. Mental fog gone. Now I suddenly have a million things to post. That first domino is critical. Just do something. Then everything follows
