Auction results - Sold To Listed - Sydney 33.6% (31.5% last week) - Melbourne 39.4% (37.7%) A bounce for both cities vs last week. However, excluding the last few weeks, this is the weakest result for Sydney since July 2022 (ex-public holidays and Xmas season hibernation), when prices were falling at a fairly hefty clip. Melbourne doing better than it was, but still it's weakest result outside of recent weeks since a particularly rainy day in July 2024. SQM's data has confirmed the prior week's poor performance in it's data, so we'll have to see if this bounce shows up. As strange as it sounds to say it, one wonders what role Trump's comments about it being all over had on results and if it gave some people the confidence to bid. With ANZAC day coming up next weekend, it will be a fortnight before normal auction results resume. #AvidAuctions

The news on Mitch Kenny isn’t good with scans showing a fractured fibula and a syndesmosis injury that’ll sideline the NSW hopeful for 8-12 weeks. He is able to return with his Panthers team mates to Sydney and will have surgery next week. 📝 @DaveRic1
